Microgaming US Player Play Money?

Is there any way to play for play money on Microgaming for the US? What about Playtech or any other non US? Is there a way? I just want to check out the software but it seems impossible.

There are a couple places that offer fun play online for various MG games, but other US players have been blocked by IP.

I'm not sure if there are any casinos that will allow you to download and play for fun - although the OP in that thread said they were able to play for fun at an account they had before the deep freeze, except without all the new games.

I don't know how the blocking works - but if you had a CD with an MG casino on it, could you not install that & play for fun?
Maybe not, as you probably still have to create a fun account... ?
Hopefully some USA players here know the answer!
