I asked mFortune why the wagering requirement showing on my account was 400x my bonus when the bonus was only 20x:

"Every bonus you receive has a 20 x wagering requirement, that is applied to the outstanding bonus wagering amount on your account. If you do not meet your bonus wagering requirements but continue to receive bonuses, the bonus wagering requirements do not automatically reset to £0 and will continue to increase. You'd need to contact us directly, when you have either £0 or £0.01 bonus credit on your account, so we're able to then manually re-set your bonus wagering requirements back to £0 for you."

That’s a shady trick that a few bottom-feeder sites try. Worth checking if it’s the in the terms, because if they’re not making this clear when offering the bonus, they’re not acting fairly and the UK authorities would not be best pleased.

It wouldn’t be the first time they have been in bother either. They had a big fine for not meeting AML requirements. Never seen a good comment about this group.

Yes, funny how the UKGC goes after the big fry when it comes to doling out fines and making examples out of, but shoe-soles scuzz sites like.....'mfortune..?' get away with all sorts of skulduggery. Hmmm

Isn't @snorky510238 saying they had a big fine already ? I vaguely remember something myself but being very old i forget lol

Yes for sure, but the UKGC's reaction times leave a lot to be desired. Whatever fine was issued was seemingly long-forgotten, they should be on it 24/7

Let's face it, these casinos make mega bucks so really no need for them to pull such underhanded tricks to screw the player. Why should the player have to contact them, this should be done automatically at their end.

Their best trick is giving you the welcome bonus even if you have played at their sister sites.
If you actually make the wagering (as I once did) and request a withdrawal then it will be declined and winnings removed... returning the balance to your original deposit amount due to only being allowed one welcome bonus across the whole brand.
“Well why didn’t you check this at the point of awarding the blooming bonus then?”
