just got this email today:

Hei

The bold part: Mighty Sphinx is guaranted to pay today, so log on in and see what it gives you.

I knew it was bullshit but i deposited a small amount just for the fun of it, pooooooff gone in 1 minute litterally. Went on chat and asked why they sent such emails. They just replied, well i cant win every time and good luck next time and closed the chat window...

LMAOOO what kind of operation is this? hahahha:lolup:

DO NOT toch them, may be ok site but not heard from them, Certain would not put cash in, From my expriance 99% of the emails come fom phishing so even they said you had this much bonus you would not get any way, As only to get you to sign up and get there profit, always goolge the site first, OR look on here, even low sites not on this meister does not mean there dogy but always ask, theres plentyof people help you out

I'm almost 100% certain that, if you had won, you would be saying how awesome they are etc.

The SOLE reason that clipjoints (like this appears to be) keep surviving and ripping people off is...well, your comment above.

I just cannot believe that a member who has been around a while like yourself would allow themselves to be "scammed" so easily. Honestly, I had to read the your phrase above several times before I was convinced it was serious.

Be nice Nifty! You were equally stupid at Winners Island! :p

Actually, here's a good example of false advertising I just received from Betsafe:

(EMAIL HEADER = Hey Loser, grab your 20 Free Spins today!)

Get them while they’re haaat!! Read More

Hi Loser ,

We are celebrating bringing all your favourite games into one Casino and we want to share this excitement with you...Who needs Casino Red and Black when we can have all the fun in one place: Betsafe Casino!

Get your hands on all the Free Spins we are droppin’ EVERY DAY. We also have stacks of other super offers and time for game play… because there’s always time for that!

You want in? Hell yeah… Check It!

Betsafe – In To Win It

Oh, but if you click "read more" instead of reading the rest of the email (which makes no mention of any other requirements), you find that you must deposit and play GBP10 each day to claim them.

I don't have an issue with having to deposit to get free spins etc, but I DO have an issue with being forced to go to the casino webpage, log in, and find out afterwards.

If it is NOT genuinely FREE....then SAY what is required in the EMAIL. Doing otherwise IS a deliberate attempt to make you visit the casino, which is unacceptable IMO.

I won't be playing there again.

Well, that was a very different scenario from memory.

The place was fairly new, and it appeared to be legit from what I knew at the time....it certainly turned out to be a mistake. Certainly different from giving money to a place you just know is dodgy by their clearly deceptive advertising.

I've got no issues at all with people making mistakes, as everyone does that. The main difference being that if my initial thoughts about a place had been "that's total BS" or "geez that looks scammy" there is NO way I would have even contemplated depositing money.

As I said, I'm certain a win would have evoked a quite different review from the OP, whereas I would have thought Whiners Island was cr*p even if I DID win.

P.S. FWIW, I didn't say the OP was stupid....but thanks for the label maphesto :D

Gee, this looks like a scam....I'll try it!

Where were you when I was trying to sell the Brooklyn Bridge?

BTW, not really false advertising. Mighty Sphinx did pay today, to them!

They shouldn't even call the free spins free if you have to deposit to get them, but they excuse themselfes that it is just an expression. Here a company could risk fines for using that kind of misleading advertisement.

When it comes to them saying that the slot would pay today that ain't that bad unless they guaranteed it would pay you.

I believe you! I never tried them with that 7 free offer they had then. Funny thread it was. It was two or three persons discussing with each other on the same account. I think that site still have the record for fastest trip to Casinomeister's rogue pit!

:p Sorry!

I have always and will always think that scratch sites usually are bad. Like those scratch/casino sites that offer some NetEnt games, they smell rogue from start.

As master Bryan once said, OP: dont feed them. Today you gave them money for lunch! ;)
