That site is wrong, It was won in £ not $ so it is probably the highest win ever.
I have said to my mates a few times that I bet they are waiting till they get the record before it pays
If I won that I would give up online gambling, incase I randomly one night did £1million spins in a drunk stupor..
I would however go to vegas a few times with a set budget

Sounds daft but I wouldn't want to win that much! - Quite controlled as a rule but with that sort of cash who knows what would happen!
Just enough to be able to 'look after' those who have 'looked after' me in my 'needy' times, oh and enough to never have to work again!
I too would probably never play online again as no amount of stacked wilds or multipliers or re-triggers would ever get close to that sort of buzz!
Defo with you on the Vegas thing tho, something I've always wanted to do, again with a 'Special Bank Card' that would only allow me access to a set amount per day while I was there
I'd also have to overcome my 'Flying Fear' as there are lots of places I'd love to visit with 'Cash to Splash'
Åsa from Göteborg or something like that
Not highest win ever.. Euro €17,861,813 win that was hit on the Net Entertainment slot Mega Fortune at Paf back in 2013 is the highest hit ever
MORE DETAIL ON WORLD RECORD JACKPOT WIN (Update)
Online casino operator reveals that Brit soldier won GBP 13.2 million....on a 25p stake.
Jon Heywood, the Cheshire soldier who won GBP 13,213,838.68 by hitting a Mega Moolah online jackpot this week (see previous InfoPowa reports) did so on a 25p stake, operator Betway Online Caino has disclosed in a statement.
The 26-year-old Afghanistan war vet scored big in an otherwise depressing year in which his much-loved grandfather passed away and his father is ill and awaiting a heart and lung transplant… the big winner is going to use part of his new fortune to make sure that his Dad receives the best possible medical care.
Heywood told British media over the weekend that he may also splash out on a new car and a family holiday, but his father's recover is his priority.
"The first thing I will spend it on is the best possible medical treatment for my dad. That's more important than anything. Family comes first and I'd give all this money back for him to be healthy again," he said.
"I'm trying not to get carried away and I really don't know what else I'm going to buy with the money, apart from a yellow Bentley Continental GT. I never even dreamed of driving a Bentley, let alone owning one. I've got a Fiat Punto at the moment!"
I can't believe it was won on a 25p stake
Great win for a guy who certainly deserves it.
What is strange though that the jackpot was hit at a value just above the highest jackpot win to date, which was back in 2013 on Netent's Mega Millions and in turn at the time had taken over from Microgaming the 1st spot for highest online JP wins.
Makes you wonder if Microgaming did let the Jackpot go that high on purpose to regain that top spot!!!
Just me thinking
I wrote this earlier in the other Mega Moolah thread:
Anyone else noticed that?
