Mega Moolah £3 Million Jackpot Hit?

:eek2: I expect the casino in question is already writing the press release. :D

If the reaction from other sites when the jackpot was won here at Butlers Bingo is anything to go by.... half the microgaming operators are off writing press releases at the moment.... I'm certainly off to write ours :)

There may be a slight delay in the official announcemernt as there was with us, if the site in question still needs to validate the players details.

Congrats to them... whoever they may be :)

I was playing TDK at La Vida minutes earlier and I've had possibly my worst TDK session ever as the slot was completely dead for hundreds of spins. Looks like it was getting ready to pay BIG :D ;)

How can it be reset it to 1 millon if the main currency for mega moolah is UK pound? :eek2:

The progressives are paid in whatever currency you play in (hence their being no currency symbol in the jackpot ticker) & the key point is that the biggest jackpot is guaranteed at a minimum 1,000,000 regardless of what currency you're playing in.

From memory, there was a thread here the jackpot was hit at around 3.5 million. Someone highlighted that they were playing in GBP & that the jackpot had only dropped by ~£400k & it transpired that the player who won, was playing in a fairly low value currency when compared to £ (again from memory, the exchange rate was ~ 12/1).

Not sure if this helps, but I dare say if a search of this forum should help uncover more information on above. Failing that, I dare say some other helpful soul on here will perhaps explain it better than I can?!

Well the la vida rep has confirmed the win of the mega moolah, and the currency was euro, but the mega moolah is not reduced by £2.5m but whole amount.

Apologies if my post was unclear, but if the winner was playing in euro, then the jackpot will be reduced by €2.5m (not £2.5m).

I've checked a number of sites & the mega moolah progressive ticker is showing >1,000,000 (at Ladbrokes, the default display currency appears to be £, so if you check there, you can verify what I'm saying is correct without having to login / have an account).
