Recently I was playing Mega Fortune and hit the wheel lots of times but best win on the wheel was 12.50 I got this without clicking stop I just left it to the gods so to speak! Has anyone hit the Rapid or higher here and if you have did you click stop? I heard through the grapevine that the wheel is simply eye candy to make it more fun for the players, than it just saying congratulations you have won such and such amount. I'm believing this because if you can stop it to get the jackpots people would win them too much surely? What do you think to stop or not to stop that is the question haha!

The wheel is eyecandy! If not, I would have been a millionaire by now. It's obviously the same with those shields at Hall of Gods. And the jackpot wheel at Mega Molaah, Dark Knight and such.

You always have the chance but it doesn't help to click "stop" os something like that, or what shields you crash on Hall of Gods. It's determined when you hit the three bonus symbols.

It's not just told through the grapevine but also bespoke in various threads somewhere on this forum
Basically it's the moment of triggering, where it is decided what you will win, and indeed does not make one iota difference whether you stop or let the gods decide, sincethe slot has already decided for all of you..

IMO it is just a graphical representation, the amount you will win is determined when you got the 3 bonus scatters in the main game. Or possibly when you click start on the wheel itself (most probable). The rest is just an illusion. I.e it doesnt matter if you click stop or not. Look for instance at super luck frog slot. Kind of the same principle. You hit the jackpot much much much less often than what would be expected from the chance as indicated by the wheel....

I could do without the eye candy in this case. Why can't they do a drum roll or something and then tell you what you won. Instead you are put through the farce of the wheel or smashing hammers and win pittance in the end. A major PITA

Obviously to make it more exciting, like they also do when representing RNG numbers with wheels in any slots. I must say I like it much better than a lottery ticket or so, where you never feel you are even close. I've had the reel roll over the mega jackpot a few times, and each time I've been a bit shaky afterwards, eventhough I know it happends to so many.

Of course we all know it's pre-detemined - but it's exciting! I like stuff like that.

When Mega Moolah first came out - they F****d up the graphics so when you won the minor - it sometimes looked like the wheel had ticked over on to the 'Major' jackpot - leading to some posts on here and, I should imagine, some coffee damaged monitors.

MG refunded bets from the point of launch to when it was fixed.

I think the graphical "near misses" are there because for most people they are more addictive than annoying. Of the 10 non-jackpot inner wheel slides, when you don't win mega/major jackpot, the wheel always stops at the 1 slide before the mega jackpot, or 1 slide or 2 slides after the mega jackpot...

In mega fortunes defence it actually has a rather good rtp for a progressive slot though ! and the only 5 of a kinds I have not saw yet is the 5 scatters and the 5 wilds ! If you play careful on it you won't bust as often as you do on like the icy wonders,hall of gods etc
