New Slot Announcement Medusa Megaways is here! Plus Scudamore's and 2 Prags.

Medusa Megaways by Nextgen - good game, glad they kept the brilliant sounds and music!
Scudamore's Lucky Stakes by Netent - actually like this one, original idea and fun to play.
Pirate Gold by Pragmatic Play - not too bad, quite volatile with high potential
Sweet Bonanza by Pragmatic Play - %@*& a %$*&*&^ crock of %&*, biggest *&^% of *7$£….

Pragmatic Play is a casino developer reviewed at Casinomeister
Ok we did a push, but its been a very long time we had such a succesful game launch of a Net Ent game as yesterday.
I think we would have to go back to Jungle Spirit release....

So many Megaways, its starting to get boring!
There's another half dozen soon...

If you're bored, do some Megaways anagrams.

A gem sway

May Wages

Game Ways

Gems Away

Medusa on megaways can only be a disaster as Medusa 2 was a great slot..Had also some amazing hits on that slot.
To turn that into megaways to get 100's of spins with fractional wins of your stake as with any megaways slot will destroy the game.
It is getting really boring as Nicola said but hey if everyone plays these slots then sure they keep dishing these out.

I spend maybe 1-2% of my spins on megaways slots on my sessions, just to see if I could hit something decent within a couple of spins.

The New Netent game looks cool, will defo play that!

Pragmatic games, no thanks!

Raging Rhino Megaways is probably the only future release that excites me. With the confirmation of auto-play, I'll quite happily play that all night long while doing other stuff.

NetEnt said last year in Amsterdam (after I ranted with them) they were getting back to exciting and volatile games over the next two years and after the success of Vikings, this new one is pretty good too.

I am sure NetEnt had a board meeting an cited Nicola as the reason they need to up their game ;)

Yeah, and I have a feeling I know where they got the Tin Foil Hat name from, after me discussing 'Netent Variance' with them and them stating it was a myth....

It is only the beginning.

SG Digital - 9 game studios (NextGen, WMS, BetDigital, Bally, Barcrest, Red7 Mobile etc)
Red Tiger
Relax Gaming
Kalamba Games
Fantasma Games
Blueprint
BTG
...list might not be complete

That's 15 studios plus whoever works together with Relax Gaming (Kalamba & Fantasma did theirs on a sublicence from Relax) that are working on Megaways slots.

Currently, I got about over 20 Megaways titles to be released just in the next couple of months. And more being announced nearly every day.

And there is no sign of it slowing down, to the contrary it will further increase. 2019 will be the Megaways year. By the end we will all be exhausted and it will start subsiding.

That is until BTG the people behind the Megaway Model will release a brand new type of Megaway slot that maybe has 100 million megaways and increasing multipliers. Etc etc......... It could go on and on and on lol

I would then suspect that they would come up with a sub company that has that new model in solely and then once that slot launches or multiple slots in that same model. Then that sub company will then also sell licenses to other providers so they can then use the new model too.

I too had a few amazing hits on Mesusa 2 but this one is not for me. The buy in is a joke. Even if your lucky enough to get two retriggers your will be lucky to triple the initial cost of the buy in. A single retrigger is more than likely to not even break even. 90% of buy ins will see you significantly out of pocket. For me it is a slot only worth playing for the base game and the chance of hitting the bonus naturally.

I wonder how many people are using the side-bet? It's unusual for a Horse-Racing game to do so well, but isn't it Cheltenham this week?

The side bet on lowest stakes is a good way of extending your play. I doubt there’ll be many big wins from it, but a bunch of 10p spins with the chance of doubling the stake at the end seems to make sense.

If only because betting 80p on 10 Js for the casino is surely better than the risk of higher symbols filling the board.

I doubt it works like that, but it’s nice to think.

Yes, indeed. The RTP is marginally higher if you use the side bet - I suppose if you played the game a lot and spent 80p every 90 spins for the 1200x slip you'd hit it eventually which would be my strategy. I couldn't be arsed with 80p bets to win 2.27x or whatever for the low odds ones. And pick the 5000x horse each time too. Then as a player you could bitch and moan about how volatile it is, it's rigged and your horse or bet never comes in. Sort of like the real world of betting....lol

Scudamore slot:
5 days ago was getting plenty of free spins bonus within 50 to 75 spins
Today I'm 2000 spins across 3 different casinos without a bonus.

Does anyone know the bonus hit rate on this and for my sanity is anybody getting bonuses tonight?

Dunno about the hit rate but first week I was getting a few near enough every hundred or so. Probably spoiled me cos we’re now on Bonanza level frequency: I’m about 700 now in this session. Base games doing ok though.

Yeah my base game is holding its own but I am playing only 0.10 but getting nowhere.
I've been trying the max win on the side bet and had 20 wilds to get with 13 spins remaining then got 13 wild free spins. :(

Back to DoA on 0.18 I think, the novelty of this slot has worn off very quickly just like Vikings.

I just played that scudamore slot without knowing about this side bet feature  I wondered why that betting slip at the side of the screen kept on rustling and making noises  I thought it was something to do with the scatters..that'll teach me to not watch all of dunover's review videos

At 20p the game scythed through my balance, took £27 without batting an eyelid, and then it proceeded to maintain my balance but crucially not raise it by more than a quid , I reckon the bonus frequency is similar to vikings, 250+ spins, and because the scatters only land on reels 1,3,5 it makes it feel harder to bonus than other games...and let's just say this caused a fair bit of foul language to be directed at Sir Peter :p ..I gave up in the end at went back to the rhino

That Pirate Gold looks amazing and has some nice potential. I love it.
Sweet Bonanza is really hard to get a bonus. Even at double frequency (0.25 min bet) it seems to be harder than Bonanza!
It has potential but also most feature buys will end up in tears (0.20 min bet, 100x bet feature buy cost).

A bit late, but here the RTP's and hit frequencies for Scudamore's Super Stakes. 1% = 1 in 100 spins. 0.40% = 1 in 250 spins. Remember, these are average numbers.

I've tried this Medusa Megaways slot quite a lot and had at least a dozen features (not without spending a fecking fortune I might add). Every single bloody time, it takes about ~700 spins to rock up (40p stake) and dicks me off with about £20. Of course you're going take the replay. Bang. £1.56 (last game anyway - it's never exceeded the original one). I'm sure there's potential for a retrigger but even when I've got 2 Medusas on the reel and that serpent starts looking lively - NOPE - useless wild and get back in your box peasant.

Btw, played Scudamore once. Went for the 2nd highest multiplier (500 / 1000x?). Nailed it.

But obviously I'm focusing on the losing slot. Bah.
