Lovely hamper VWM, I hope you enjoy it - should the thread be entitled 'Many thanks Casino Rewards' though? Not completely sure what this has to do with 32Red?

Regards
Mark

By the size of that gift, my guess is you've must've blown 5 figures at CR! I believe there are cheaper ways to get your hands on such goods.

If I'm being honest, I'm a tad put off that you would promote CR at the expense of 32red.

Yeah, I agree - so I changed the thread title. Give credit where credit's due. :D

It's really a UK thing. All the download Viper casinos that I play pulled out of the UK last year, and the ONLY two that remain are the Casino Rewards mega conglomerate and the 32Red group. It now seems that Casino Rewards are doing the hampers and gifts like in the old days of Jackpot Factory before they were taken over and ruined before pulling out of the UK. Vegas Partner Lounge also did similar things, but they too pulled out of the UK.

With the heated debate over whether the traditional money bonus has had it's day, the casinos will have to think of something different before the day comes when they are forced to ditch the bonus idea for good.

I now ONLY play at the two groups, 32Red and Casino Rewards, because all my other casinos (not ALL Microgaming Viper) have either pulled out of the UK, or are breaking the law by not having a licence. Even if I waver and try to chuck a sly deposit into 3Dice or WinaDay, Neteller will curb my urges as they now block deposits from UK customers to any casino not on the list of UK licence holders.

There are other options, but the browser based casinos are somewhat off putting as they have all these browser and bandwidth problems that lead to a poor experience for the player. Some are down to them and their providers, but others are down to the somewhat backward nature of UK broadband access. I am still getting the occasional burst of lag at 32Red, and it's more noticeable in the tournaments.

Still, it could be a good thing, as if I got loads of hampers I would end up being too fat to get up the stairs to my gambling PC:eek:

If I got a hamper which reflected the spam they sent me I'd be using the contents to open a new discount superstore. In fact, I'd be able to solve hunger in the third world overnight.:what:

The odd thing is, all the CR spam seems to have vanished recently, it's not even in my spam folder!

I have a suspicion that what I once said would happen to casinos that are weak at policing spam has now happened to CR, their mail gateways have ended up on a spam blacklist. I don't just not see the spam, I get NOTHING, not even the regular player newsletters or offers.

This means that any of their customers in the UK who use Virgin Media as their ISP will not be receiving even the legitimate mailings from CR. Some other spam IS getting through, so it does look like a gateway blacklist rather than a clever spam filter designed to reject spam outright.

There IS a tin of pork pate in the hamper, it's pretty close to spam:D

Fair enough, I've had my fun joking around a bit.

It's rather a shame though that the UK regulations drove so many old casinos where I played regularly out, even though there have been plenty of newcomers. I have noticed from the posts of others that after leaving the UK market, many of these fine upstanding Viper casinos appeared to go downhill somewhat, and in a few cases seem to have fallen off a cliff.

As for dropping loads at CR, not really, my VIP host told me how much I had won this year, so if anything I was expecting to log in one day and find my rewards account locked. Maybe being British has protected me against this kind of action as many casinos seem worried about falling foul of UK laws to the point of stripping out many of the unpleasant terms that have crept in to the industry recently.

For me, the best Christmas present of all would be the return of the Fruit machines in the Viper client, in second place would be a cast iron guarantee that Viper will work in Windows 10.

Bad news on the first - they won't, ever, and we all know it.

Good news on the second, my win10 runs the Viper clients perfectly. The only annoyance being the shadowy 'updates' that seem to occur too often which means I suddenly find when I open a game that it needs downloading again....

True, but they will never ADMIT it either, they are "undergoing maintenance", and have been for the past 18 months. However, there are signs that other sites are getting online versions of the modern fruit machines, but these are not the old style games that I like and used to play a great deal.

I will have to make do with second choice, as by July I will have to move to Windows 10 or get left behind, and will have to hope that the bugs have been ironed out.

It's not the first time I hear someone from UK talk about a "fruit machine". I was talking slots with a job partner yesterday when I saw him searching for an email in his mobile mailbox... To see a CR spam offer. I asked him if he plays slots.... He told me.... Not anymore... Online is rigged... ( sure...)

He tell told me the best slots were fruit machine in UK... He said the more you bet and the longer you play... The machine is more likely to pay a good prize...

I wouldnt usually care about a comment like that.... But I remember some users here already mentionned that... What are these fruit machines exactly?

Land based Fruit Machines in the UK (AWP's) will chobble your cash long term much quicker than online slots.

To begin with AWP's carry a payout return as low as 72% and that's before the crooked owner and 'engineer' got near them.

Online is the far better choice, much highers TRTP's and played by a lot more people than people who visit the 'wooden box' in the corner of your local, so better chance of a hit!

The only time land based slots win over online is when you have an 'emptier' for them, something I've capitalised on LOTS but not in recent years.

Online Fruit Machines were removed as others have stated as these could be exploited in a similar way, cut a very long story short, basically by refusing smaller wins and forcing (eventually) larger hits at larger bet sizes once the 'machine' was 'flying'

They sent me a xmas card with a £25 NDB and 150% match, cant fault casino rewards really just wish they would cool it with the daily spam emails.

Something ive always wondered / theorized about CR, the way they absorb all the failed mg brands and that they are based on the Isle of Man, or at least thats where they mailed me a cheque from once (other snail mailers from them come from the philippines) but mg are also based on the Isle of Man,

anyway my theory: are CR = Microgaming themselves?

*Conspiracy Theory Mode On*

It would explain part of their ability to survive as an MG standalone with their spam reputation and eagerness to bonus ban.

Anyway back to reality, It seems that they are pretty generous with NDB which is cool, they even phoned me after not really depositing more than 3-4 times all year but never got the FS the phone call informed me of.

Ended up after chasing up with a 5er, lasted longer than some of deposits these days!!

Not to mention the fact that they will still send you bonus offers, despite being bonus banned. Right now, if I log into my Aztech Riches accounts and check the promotions page, it will say that I'm "ELIGIBLE" for four bonuses which total $425.......Except that I'm not eligible at all !

They've already conned me into depositing $105 earlier this month!

I am confused as I though all the Casino Rewards Casinos were close land now for UK players. I have been to several of them and can not find they are UKGC licensed? Also I tried to log into my old Casino Rewards account and does not work also get error comeo up. I check my emails and last email I had was in 2013

ahhh thanks mate. But what I don't understand is that my emails stopped back in 2013. Also other problem is I had 2 different emails when signing up for the groups casinos. So I also have 2 Casino Reward accounts which also makes no sense. When I lived in Denmark I have a 3rd account LOL

On their site I tried click forgot password and get this error:

Server Error

404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
