from Playtech.
I have noticed that the last 2 weeks the live playtech games were not available and today I received their email about changing platform (Vegas Casino Online).
I suppose their other casinos will change soon.
(As soon as this is verified, the accredited list should be updated dear moderators)

I have also an account at Twin Aces and today I couldn't even connect probably due to the migration.
The strange thing is that I tried to withdraw my balance to neteller (as I played only the live games without bonuses) and its not an acceptable method now :what:
Lets see now how I will get through this with their great so far support...

Yes they are

If you look for Main Street Casinos at online.casinocity.com you will see they are already with RTG.

Good thing for them, the Main Street Vegas Group is a great operation: Reliable customer service, not crooks, tons of funding methods, average time frame with payouts....

I am sure they will be doing good with RTG, with Playtech and Cryptologic out of the US Market, they will do fine.

For me, it will be one of my top 5 recommendations for US players.

Talking about Playtech, I noticed Aspinalls, Golden Palace and other sites are still accepting US customers... what is their future? are they merging? quiting?

What is Microgaming's position towards US' businesses??

Looks like whatever Mainstreet casino you were in, your account will be merged with Sun Palace. Your old account username will work and you use that same username as your password also.

It looks like they still don't allow video poker if you had a bonus. For fans of video poker, that kinda sucks. Maybe they'll change it someday.

I love the RTG software. Good luck to the Mainstreet Group!

A little ironic really - I seem to remember Twin Aces was RTG years back...

Anyone know the current state of play?
I just clicked on Casinomeister's Main Street links under RTG casinos:-
Las Vegas USA, Slots Plus, Sun Palace & Vegas Casino Online - all go to homepages saying they are powered by Playtech! :what:

It's not a smooth as a transition as I thought it would be. Give it a couple of days and I'm sure everything will be cool.

I played at Sun Palace RTG yesterday...so that is already up and running. The random jackpots are only around $1000 or so.. I guess because this is brand new (was never sure if the random jackpots are supposed to be the same across the board of all RTG casinos or not).

The only two casinos of Main Street which will not have their own RTG conversion under their original brand name are Diamond Deal Casino and Twin Aces. Diamond Deal is under Sun Palace and Twin Aces is under Vegas Casino Online (specifically meaning, you would use your original usernames to log into the corresponding casino..i.e. you can use both your Diamond Deal and Sun Palace usernames to log into the new Sun Palace RTG casino). If you receive an error, email casino support concerning login and it will provide further instructions.
When chatting with the "live chat" operator, I asked if their payout (time for withdrawals) schedule will be the same as it was under Playtech now that they are using RTG. He advised me it will be the same as before. (A relief for me, because I had a Playtech ACH withdrawal within 2 days..and I noticed that many RTGs take much longer, or you have to opt for check, which usually carries a high minimum withdrawal amount, and a high fee).

Mainstreet has always controlled their own support and payouts unlike the typical Playtech. This is because they were originally RTG and maintained their service and support when they switched to Playtech a couple of years ago. FYI.

Could be better

It could have been handled alot better with players.
All I received was a mailer out of the blue stating that a migration to new software was planned, then I heard nothing more till I read a post that all accounts had an RTG counterpart, and that the passwords were reset simply to the account numbers, so any random try at an account number and password the same could have gained access to an actual live account as likely as triggrered an error message for a nonexistent number.

I have not heard further since I received formal mailers telling me how to use my Sun Palace account with RTG, and that my Twin Aces could be used under Vegas Online.
I have heard nothing on Diamond Deal, although it seems it has also merged with Sun Palace, so I would appear to have TWO accounts at Sun Palace, and one at Vegas Online. RTG casinos normally allow the user to choose the login, so using the old Playtech ids should not be a problem, BUT, it could lead to players ending up with duplicate accounts and inadvertently claiming too many bonuses - I hope Main Street realise that some players will do this in error, as well as those that would deliberately take advantage of the situation.
The default password setting to the username was a poor move, most of us know how Playtech and MG generate account numbers automatically, and I would advise all players and ex players to secure their RTG accounts with a new password ASAP and beat the "hackers" who may see an opportunity to play under a borrowed identity. If players never intend to play at the new RTG brands, accounts should still be secured or even formally closed or locked.
Until now, I have been worried that an RTG Diamond Deal account of mine needed securing, but now it seems I have secured the lot (I hope!).

Hey Mainstreet Group, Just fyi, I notice there is no "Deuces Wild" game in your roster of video poker. I downloaded the Sun Palace version, and I don't see it anywhere. Is that a mistake?

Also, I notice you still have Terms and Conditions posted that refer to Playtech games (i.e. Blackjack Switch). If I was you, I'd get on the ball and update everything before you cause yourselves a bunch of headaches with subsequent player issues.

Anyway, good luck. And thanks for continuing to give us USA players a place to gamble up. :D

Considering that Playtech doesn't accept US players anymore and that casinos like GoldenPalace work with a majority of US players, I assume that we will see very soon GP switching from Playtech to....RTG ?

Well, elsewhere in the forum, there was a press release saying that they are going to switch to something called Odds-On software.

Sun Palace

I have installed the new software, but that looks like as far as I am getting. The "rules" and "help" functions do not operate, and I have found that my account has been converted from Pounds to Dollars, and all my comp points have been confiscated...

Brilliant!!!!

Perhaps I will call it a day:confused:

My understanding was that it was the new US facing *Golden Casino* that was using a new ("Odds On - Vegas T"?) platform - has Golden Palace changed as well?

Vynil,

Be patient ...

Contact Support and I am more than positive all those glitches will be fixed.

Merging from one software to another its one hell of a nightmare, don't worry I am sure they will be at their 100% capacity in a short matter of time

They list "Bonus Deuces Wild" and "Loose Deuces", plus the similiar "Sevens Wild" ...

The "help" function is "contacting support" - until that works, I cannot contact support.
It may be that all will be straightened out in the end, but they must surely be losing money while players just sit around waiting for things to get up and running.
I was interested as, unlike Playtech, RTG does at least work on my PC without freezing every few minutes.
