Hi there,

i know that it has to do with licensing... But what is the main reason that some countries are restricted to play some slots... And why aren't these companies interested in a license (or however that works) to allow these countries as well.

For me as a swiss player i can play pretty much anything online EXCEPT:
-> WMS
-> BALLY
-> NOVOMATIC

Why?

Thanks... Would love to know more about that...

It could be a couple reasons but i would think its mainly about licensing and tax. Its also possible that those providers are licensing their games out to the land based casinos in those countries and this does not include online licensing. It could also be related to exclusivity clauses for particular game providers.. Some companies are not interested in licensing mainly for commercial reasons i.e. tax related... just my 2 cents :thumbsup:

Thanks... I thought about this as well...

Bally, WMS and Novomatic provide landbased slots in Switzerland... Bally is pretty strong in swiss landbased casinos, so is Novomatic... WMS has some slots there too.

I think Switzerland is maybe just too small that it brings enough money if they try to get a license here as well... It's a pity though, i would love to play WMS again :-)))))

IMO i don't think its about size, If the games are already available in the offline casinos and Switzerland has no online licensing in place, i dont think these companies would risk their offline partnerships unless there was a clear online licensing regime.
