Sorry about that. This thread just made me recall me addressing some "questionable" terms of some casino in the past and your reply to it and it slightly triggered me. Because honestly what you're saying is that casino can have any rules they want, no matter how absurd they may be, as long as those rules are clearly displayed. And that those terms won't affect a casino having the Accredited status.
Max has said in the past that he will support the player when the T&C are "outrageous."
You'll have to enquire with Max for more details about his position on casino T&Cs. I think it's probably complicated.
My stance is that it's about what's fair, for both casino and player. T&C means very little.
Here's a true story which is related to the topic:
I've witnessed in court someone trying to cash in on "gotcha contracts."
The example I saw was a web page designer trying to sue someone for breach of contract.
Someone had signed a contract and the terms were that you can't at any stage back out of the deal; you will be charged the full amount, regardless.
Someone wanted to back out and the webpage designer took them to court. At this point the designer had done about 1-2 hours work.
The magistrate asked the customer why they wanted to back out; they just changed their mind.
And the magistrate asked the webpage designer why they wanted to be paid the full amount of money and the webpage designer said; because the customer had signed a contract.
The webpage designer wanted about 3k and the magistrate gave him what was fair for 1-2 hours work: ~$50.
I think a lot of people on the forum have the same view as the webpage designer. Not what's fair, but what's in the contract.
I love it when some casinos eat there own words,
Sorry we cannot implement this and that...
Yes, that's an excuse casinos are using to excess. In the real world they are required to back it up with sufficient evidence.
Without the evidence it makes it too easy for them to lie.
I have attempted to define an accredited casino before and it's hard.As best I understand casino accreditation 'In a Nutshell' or 'Bottom Line I read into it that basically the casino in question can be trusted and if you win you will get paid.
One solid point is that you can always PAB an accredited casino.
If the casino is not accredited, you may or may not be able to PAB.
