Comments Welcome Live chat pop-up when you play, is that ok?

I know ever since I started playing online that I have never liked when I'm playing or just taking a look around at a new casino, and there suddenly pops up a chat window with someone who offers me a bonus if I deposit.
I feel a little as if they invide my personal life. They can see me. They know what I'm doing

Now maybe I shouldn't feel like that. Maybe I should see it like a service and a chance to get something extra.

What do you think when it happens and how do you feel about it?
The reason I'm asking is because one casino I'm playing at have started to do that now, and that shocked me, a lot!

I don't dislike this - I loath it. It's an old Playtech/RTG strategy from the old days. It's extremely annoying when you are trying to do research on a site, and these bots (which they are at first) start intruding on my browsing experience.

Yeah, I agree with the Playtech casinos doing this, it's almost a cert that with a sub- £5 balance that you'll get an enforced chat window appear.

No I don't want to talk to you or re-deposit. I go to close the window and there it is.....again!! It's like some irritating mosquito at night when you're trying to sleep

Worst one I experience is at Ladbrokes, I go to play some free spins on Frankie Dettori or something and I get the automated pop-up in between every spin urging me to take up their deposit offers! What he hell man, just let me play my poxy spins!

I got an apology and was told there was this overenthusiastic guy...
I choose to believe them, or it was just a test and now they know how we feel about it so it won't happen again.

Case closed for me but if you want to go on ranting about stalking support that's fine too

Exactly what I said too. The only time I would welcome such a pop up was if they were going to give me something, for free.
...or to tell me I won a contest. Which will probably never happen

A few years ago that free spin thread wouldn't be allowed to even exist here.
Bonus and free spin hunters never felt welcome here and I miss that time a little. Time change though and now I feel it's good to get a heads up for things I would have missed otherwise

Players can't just depend on free bonuses and free spins, it would take a while to get a win unless you got really lucky.. All the time That'll be the day It's kinda like the kids kicking the 2p coin drop machine at the penny arcade to get about 10p

This sort of practice used to happen a lot (prior to UK pullout) on MG download client casinos.

VPL, Digimedia, Fortune Lounge, Palace Group to name a few were all guilty of this.

Now sometimes I'd rage and couldn't get the mouse to close the chat fast enough, more so If losing lol and it also blocked part of my screen, how rude!!

However on other occasions I would 'make the effort' to entertain them, I recall the once the chat agent couldn't thank me enough for actually taking the time to respond to their chat and talk to them!

Although mostly to offer incentives for deposits, it was not always, Digimedia IIRC had a habit of wanting to tell me the 'Hot and 'Cold' games, possibly some hidden agenda but no value to an experienced Jedi like me

Mixed feelings to summarise but I'd err on the side of annoying!

I hate it.

Havent had it in a while thankfully.

The amount of times i just wanted to type F Off back, but i cant do that lol, they are only doing thier job.
