I'll be stretching my legs and heading to Las Vegas next week :D

It's my first time so I'm looking for some suggestions of what to do, from the seasoned LV professionals on here.

Do's and Dont's

Go...

Get a 24hr bus pass.
Eat buffet at Excalibur or Circus Circus. In fact, CC has won best dinner in Vegas.
Forget off-strip props and Downtown. Some say to see the lazer show on Fremont, but I say it's loud nonsense.

Take a day to see the Grand Canyon, and LV museum, do NOT pick up ladies as they might be cops.

Why not?? Cops have desires too....:D

I got back on Friday and had the best time.

From the moment we got there I was treated great by the hotel staff, the room was overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. I never thought I'd be so excited over a water feature.

Did a few pool parties and a few nightclubs. The other days we spent doing the touristy thing meandering through casinos. I think I walked 30-40 miles minimum in the week.

I also managed to leave Vegas with some of the with money I set out (well, I spent it in the airport on gifts for the family lol).

I will be booking again at the end of the month.

Dinner at SW Steakhouse (Wynn) or Sunday Jazz Bruch at the Wynn Country Club.

Absynthe show at Caesars (but don't take your mother like I did).

Red Rock Canyon (if you don't have time for Grand Canyon).

Pleasure pit at Planet Hollywood (blackjack dealers in their undies!).

and loads more. I'm going back there at Xmas, although I don't gamble like this any more....... bombay.webp
