As the thread suggests, and just for a bit of fun after my last posting.

If we could reverse the roles, and prior to depositing our hard earned cash at any casino, what forms of ID would you ask from them to gain their trust, and what questions would you ask to get to know them more....KYC....Know Your Casino!

One thing I never liked is the standard footnote "operated my MT Secure | Everymatrix" etc..... and nowhere is the mention of the company who is indeed behind the casino. You can't find that info even if you look at the license details since those casinos are run under White Label.

Doubts might be assuaged by the known names but it gives not a single iota of assurance that the actual company owning the casino is legit.

Hence, I would like to see the true ownership of a casino when I sign-up.

Are there CS staff on hand 24/7 and how well trained are they?

Do they have a freefone helpline available 24/7?

Do they use auto-verification?

Anything else doesn't really cut it with me anymore, except with one or two trusted exceptions.

But what is “true ownership”? You could be a gun running , money laundering paedophile and start numerous companies with nominee directors / shareholders and no one would know who the TRUE beneficial owner was.
Getting to that point of the” people behind the people” in any business it’s nigh on impossible if someone doesn’t want you to know you just will not know simple as that

Sure, you can hide everything.

But to just say "operated by ....xxx" implies that the site is also "owned by ...xxx", which is not true in many cases. When it comes to legal issues, the operating platform is not your point of contact.

When I put a website up I need to have the company name, registration number, disclaimer etc on it. Why does that not apply to casinos?

Benefical ownership registries are coming. The next (5th) AMLD will introduce mandatory registration of beneficial owners for the companies in EU.
