Somehow one of my non-gaming emails got on a list, and every day I'm getting 5 or 6 mails from these creeps. I have ASSP on my server so I thought I'd take a look and see if it's working, check this out - every single one of these is from Kings Fricking Palace. Notice the date and times.

I guess the good news is that the server is catching most of them, I'd be even more pissed if these were all getting through.

I had the same thing happen to me back in October last year. See post #3 https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...rom-kings-palace-casino-its-affiliates.45044/

I was getting around 60 a day and I was all but ready to scrap my email address for good then suddenly the emails just mysteriously stopped after about a week.

It's scary to think how they can get your non gaming email address and often makes me think what other info they can get from our PC's.

I'm with you.... I hope they die! :machinegu

Yeah I thought it strange that our beloved chayton would start such a thread but having read your opening post I would have been even more irritated and hope that they will be tortured in a boiling pot in hell according to chinese folklore.

Meanwhile Happy New Year everyone. Its the first day of the Year of the Dragon tomorrow.Maybe play slots with a dragon-theme?:D

Finally it's going to be my year! I'm a dragon, so should be lucky for me...right? (fingers crossed)

Happy New Year!

Not quite. According to chinese custom those who are born in the year of that animal will not fare too well when the year of that animal re-emerges. That means those born in 1964, 76, 88, 2000 should be extra careful this year. Rather, those born in the year of the Dragon may fare better in the Year of the Pig if I recall correctly.

Okay Chu, I was born in the year of the snake, what's in store for me?

oh crap....

Should be ok dragons and snakes are not in direct conflict according to chinese astrology. Pity my father is too old now. He was an expert in fortune telling and palmistry and in his heyday he had thousands seeking his assistance every month.

My Chinese girlfriend told me that many parents, especially grandparents, want their children to be born in the Year of the Dragon than any other years.

I hope to meet her and her family sometimes before summer. We won't be able to get a kid before next Chinese New Year! :)

Very true. This is backed up by stats. The Dragon is adored within the Chinese Community.

My younger brother was born in 1964 (year of dragon) and doing very well in the past few years. He has a mild temperament not like a fiery dragon at all.

Me too. Supposedly I'm a wood dragon...which is supposed to have tempered my attitude somewhat - I'm not sure if the 'wood' is from the year or something else...?

I loved the title of your thread....made me giggle!

And to ChuChu: Way to bring a girl down! Chayton's all excited about her "Dragon" year & BAM!

 story of my life....

I'm adored everywhere. Then I wake up....

Ah, that`s easy to cure then, just reply in German and you won`t see them for dust :p

lol, yeah except I don't know any really bad words in German. And of course they're not being sent from real email addresses.

Actually it's interesting that you mentioned the possible keylogger, this is the same email that a couple of months ago I got blasted with email viruses - "Important mail from the IRS, read the attachment" or "Your money transfer got lost, click the attachment" etc etc....Same thing, I was getting 4 or 5 a day. I got online with my provider (who was useless BTW, they said "just block the email sender" well duh...all forged addresses and different all the time) and it went on for another week and then just stopped.

So hopefully this is another phase that will stop too - until they come up with something new.

They were probably sent via proxy servers, as much as spammers are annoying they don`t usually go to this much trouble in disguising themselves, plus the time stamps, it would take some pretty good organizing to synchronize that many senders around the world to all send that close to each other.

P.S.

A vast amount of keyloggers originate from emails regarding MMORPG`s (online games) stating that your account at <insert random MMO name here> is under scrutiny for breaching the EULA, these are ofc sent out on the off chance that you have an account with the game in mention, you click on the link then boom, they have your login details and hijack your account, they then clear your characters of everything they have that will sell for in-game cash and use your characters to advertise the details of their illicit gold selling, this is a gigantic business and is rapidly becoming the main employment for Asian sweatshops -

Every person belongs to one of 5 element ie metal, wood, water, fire and earth. They constrain and are complementary to each other. Hmmm, if your element is wood you require 'water' to spice you up. If you had a Chinese name some strokes could be added to do the trick but I guess if you lived by the sea it should be ok. I am of the earth element so fire is beneficial to me. My father used to say I need to wear red clothes but I detest the colour. In roulette, I always bet on black:D

Maybe I should play from the bathtub?

I find the Chinese horoscope very interesting actually. There are people that I know who are so much like their signs it's amazing - even sometimes down to the physical characteristics. To be honest, I don't feel very dragon-like lately...more like a baby bunny or some small easily squishable creature. An earthworm, maybe.

I agree, my chinese year past was 2006 the year of the dog, wasn't a good year for life in general, not going to go into details but first half of the year was good for gambling, second half was really bad in life, I'll leave it at that.

Same as for the Dragon, the Year of the Pig will be good for you. Pity my father is now over 90 and cant relay anything to me. He used to be an expert on these things and usually gave advice freely on request.
