Jackpot Party – my experience so far

Hello all,

Spent much of this weekend trying out Jackpot Party – a mixed but good experience so far. I deposited £75 and it went up to £300 pretty fast and then right down to £20 before I got it back up again. Eventually made the wagering requirement (20x I think) and withdrew £225, leaving myself with £75 to play with.

Or to lose as it happens.

So, some thoughts; firstly, the good. The games are GREAT. Really fun, quite different, some inventive features, good music and what seems to be a range of variance. They really reminded me of Vegas and I’ve played some of them there before. I especially liked Platea and Riches of the Amazon. Really enjoyed the bonus rounds on both.:p

Secondly, the Jackpot Party progressive feature. This is basically a randomly triggered site-wide feature where you can win one of a bunch of tiered jackpots, from like £30 up to about 10k. No, I didn’t get a go on it but I have had several on the one in Vegas and it is about as exciting as it gets. I’d be really interested to hear from anyone who has gotten it online – was it triggered by a special symbol? How much did you win? If this is you then please do let us know. It would be good to hear. Just having the feature on there is pretty exciting I think. It’s also presented quite slickly in that you can hover your mouse over the different tiers and see when they were last won and how many people have won each tier etc. Best of all though, was the info from Michael, the customer service rep:

[11:30:23 PM] ME: Do you have any idea if the amount you wager on a single spin increases your chances of getting a shot at it?
[11:31:02 PM] Michael: The amount of your wager does not effect your chances of triggering the Progressive.
[11:31:23 PM] ME: So you could actually win 10k off a 50p bet??!
[11:31:33 PM] Michael: That's correct.
[11:31:47 PM] Michael: Any stake any time.

I wonder if this means you could play 1 line and still trigger it? Thoughts welcome.

The final piece of good news is the CS. Fast, efficient and easy to communicate with. I received an email saying my cashout was processed this morning too so I’ll post an update when it hits my bank. If these guys pay fast too then they’ll be seeing more of my moolah.

Now the not so good news: Firstly, no flushing withdrawals. That’s not great in itself but to their credit this is explained clearly and honestly right in the FAQs:

Can I flush my withdrawal?
Published 11/19/2010 02:21 PM | Updated 01/10/2011 10:32 AM
No. Flushing a withdrawal simply removes the request from pending state without cancelling it; however will not speed up the withdrawal process. Withdrawals must be cancelled if you wish to make another deposit. Alternatively, you will need to wait till the withdrawal has been processed
The irritant here for me is this part: Withdrawals must be cancelled if you wish to make another deposit. Alternatively, you will need to wait till the withdrawal has been processed.

That’s annoying for obvious reasons. On the other hand if they always process quickly then I guess it’s not so bad.

No so good news part 2 – slooooooooooooooooooooooooow spins. This seemed worse during my second session which was late on sat night – perhaps that had something to do with it as I’d imagine that lots of UK players are on at that time. I found repeatedly that when I hit spin there was a delay while my balance was recalculated and adjusted. I counted a few of these and they ranged from 10 to 30 seconds. This isn’t a major gripe for me as anything which helps me to slow down when I’m playing is a good thing overall. I can imagine it would irritate some players a lot though. While this does happen with some of the other no download casinos I’ve played on it was noticeably worse here. Hardly ever happens at Boyle and only occasionally at Victor Chandler. If there’s a rep on here perhaps they could shed some light on how/why this happens and when/if it will be fixed?

Part 3 – slow loading times. Not ages, but takes a while. A very minor gripe, this.

I think that’s all for now and look forward to hearing of anyone else’s experiences.

All the best folks.

UPDATE: Just had another look on their site and clicked on the progressive video preview. Next to it, it says: THE MORE YOU BET, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF TRIGGERING RANDOM JACKPOTS ON YOUR FAVORITE GAMES. This seems to contradict what I was told by CS. Is there a rep who can clear this up for me?

Hello :) I liked your review/experience. Very good post. But some members will probably f**k up this thread as well.

Anyway, I don`t know what kind of a casino provider they use. But I would think you only need to bet one line if the jackpot feature is triggered by scatters.

Thanks for your review!

Yes, you are correct about the statement ‘The more you bet, the better your chances are of triggering random jackpots on your favourite games’ but the CS rep was correct when he said it can happen on any game, any stake, any time.
Thanks for your insights; the balance adjustment is normally around 10 secs so we have highlighted your experience to our technical team so they can investigate.
I am really glad you enjoyed our games and we are glad to get both positive and negative feedback to continue improving the experience for our players.

Hi Marie! We are always reviewing the market but have no current plans to accept players outside the UK

Hi Vicki I signed up for your casino today but then got the message"your information could not be verified ..." which made me wonder if some kind of address or credit check was used to try verify addresses ? Hope not as I have a number of addy both UK and abroad. Seemed a little strange to reject my application to deposit at your casino based on the above. I was trying to join from a UK IP using my UK addy (which is also the address attatched to my neteller account)

The casino seems to have some interesting games , shame though I could not deposit from the UK today to try them ;)

I’d be really interested to hear from anyone who has gotten it online – was it triggered by a special symbol? How much did you win? If this is you then please do let us know.

I had it once. Got to the 2nd tier (ie: found 1 star). It was randomly trigerred.

Agree with pretty much all your comments by the way

Fwiw, the table games are RTG games and the backend system is too I think hence why there is no auto-flushing. But cashouts are around lunchtime GMT the following day do the wait is only 12-36hrs depending on what time you cashed out.

Agree that overall it's made a good first impression on me too although I would like to see flushing implemented before I invest decent amounts.

The reverse before you deposit thing I suspect would be to reduce processing costs which can eat up typically 5-10% for a combined deposit/withdrawal.

Cheers

Simmo!

Jealous

I am so envious of those that get to play here. I was watching some of the video of wins on youtube yesterday, and man they make me miss Vegas :(.

This casino seems awesome so far, and I hope us USA players get to play one day.

Well managed to get my account open. So far absolutly loving the games! Superb graphics on many of them. Played Star Trek , tons of features and potential for huge wins also hit good on Wizard Of Oz with the scatters bonus.

These slots really can give MG a run for their money i think i have just found my new online home ;) Took a 100% match bonus small stakes manged to meet playthrough and cash out £275 for a 50 deposit. Will update all when the cash out has been processed. Wonder how long they take to pay back to neteller ?

Anyone know a house for rent/sale in the UK?

Anything with an internetconnection and central heating will do.

Enough space for a PC, keyboard, monitor, my 3-legged cat and a microwave.

Price can be negotiated. Thanks in advance!

LUCKY BASTARDS!!! :p

You can come and live in my attic if you like!
Already has a PC connected to the net in there, and if you're any good at baby-sitting it will be rent-free!

I tried Jackpot Party over the last 2 days; only played 2 slots so far;
Zeus: I was expecting to be very hard to hit the free-spins since they contain stacked top symbols AND stacked wilds (just like Deck the Halls), but actually I got them on just my 5th spin, and a total of 6 times in my first 228 spins.
My best win was bet x 76 (due to the big hit below), the worst bet x 8.
After the 228 spins and my 6th feature, the slot totally died for the next 80 spins and I lost £64 in £108 of wagers.
Still left it with £34 profit, but could have been better.

Star Trek - Red Alert: I chose this because a lot of people seems to be winning on it (there is a "winner" announcement at the side of the screen - similar you what NetEnt have).
I was expecting this to be similar to Zeus and so bet quite big... BIG mistake!
I played 226 spins, got 5 Win-Warp features and 2 lots of free-spins, but STILL lost £133 in £312 of wagering = RTP of 57%!
Entertaining features - but at a high price!

What I can't quite decide is what type of slots these are; I'm pretty sure they're not AWPs, and also pretty sure they're not true random slots either (FAR too many stacked symbols appearing on Zeus for that), so I reckon they work the same as the big slots in UK arcades & casinos and are basically "bingo" machines.
Is that good or bad? I really don't know!

I played Zeus in Vegas. I think it is a true video slot with pretty long reel strips. You can see some stacked wilds or top symbols all the time, you just can't get them together in the right place at the same time :)

We actually got (or at least had) a lot of these in Holland Casino... In most of them you even got the Jackpot Party (Utrecht - €0,02 slots)!

You don't even pay for the heating :p

i recall playing a slot named jackpot party at a b&m casino.the feature was randomly triggered and once i got to the 4th tier. didnt pay that much but it was fun.

In Holland Casino the Jackpot Party feature is triggered by a "scattersymbol" on the 5th reel. You get a bonusgame in which you can get stars for the 1th, 2nd, 3rd or 4th tier. If you get no stars you still get credits for the bonusgame itself, in which you can choose "boxes" with credits.

a little update

Hello again folks,

A brief update. I've been playing there a fair bit over the last few days and have noticed:

1) Fast cashouts (meaning the no-flush clause is less of a problem).
2) The slow spins issue seems to be improved a lot.
3) STILL waiting for a go on the progressive :p I'll get there eventually.

Overall, I am definitely impressed: the games are fun, the cashouts are fast and the CS is very solid. In short, the whole thing feels like a quality operation. It'll be interesting to see how/when they add new slots too. I'm a bit disheartened with the "latest" MG slots often being clones.

I was thinking the same also the way they play out. Possibly closer to the land based slots. Was checking the game %s which they do show on the last page of the pay table for each slot, some are as low as 92% with a few more % for the site wide RJS. Star Trek I was winning alot then it suddenly died - same with Wizard of Oz but really intersting games and visually superb.

Maybe VWM can step in as he seems the AWP master ;) ?

Just got the shot at the progressive!

And BLOODY GOSH it was exciting! I only won the confetti jackpot (lowest one - £30 ish) but I also got about £70 off the party picks. Not bad considering I was betting 50p. And great to know that you can actually get a shot from that betsize (take note low-rolling fans :)).

There's no scatter symbol or anything - it just pops up and off you go. Awesome feature :thumbsup::thumbsup:

And now...CASHOUT TIME.

Happy weekend all.

I am on a 3 uk mobile Modem and Grace has just informed me that they don't accept UK players using mobile modems. A bit mystified to be honest.

It's may be more a question of don't "support" them as the graphics and interface is pretty intensive on processing. Unless there is some thinking that "mobile" potentially means it could be a non-UK IP address. WMS are pretty strict on this because of the need to ensure their land-based licenses don't get jeopardised.

I think its the latter. I can play fine at every other casino. My ip address points to Chorley in Lancashire so I don't really see the problem to be honest.

If you guys are impressed with what you folks have available to you now. For slot selection wait until you see some of the stuff I'm playing right in our US Land Based casinos. Over here WMS has a major influence in the illinois area and has a wide variety of slots, with different games, different atmopsheres, and different payout schemes. So hopefully this is something there working up to in the US for whenever we do finally decide to allow online gaming.
Right now my favorite has to be Monopoly Bigger Event. Just because that machine tells you when the system is trying for a big event, whether you get into or not. One of those neat community gaming ordeals.
I agree though, I should move to the UK to play this.

Have to try this one out. First time for this. Saying that it is a great place. :D I expect a lot from this Jackpot Party

They just released Bruce Lee (
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
for those who can't play it) but it's very different to the land-based version. game Of Dragons seems to be the land-based version while the new Bruce Lee is a brand-new slot but it is pretty damn good. Or did I just miss this format in Vegas?

You can get 20 free spins on this one too with stacked wilds with a certain type of trigger! :D

Spearmaster loved the land-based version of this game :)

Very impressed with this casino.
Played the Wizard of Oz game - a fairy godmother thing flew into the reels and gave me 3 expanded wilds. Won £110 from a 60p stake.
I cashed out a hundred and its back in my Neteller account in less than one hour.

Just A quick fix that worked for me and may work for others,I too had these problems joining the casino, think it may have been my ip address but i reset my home hub modem which must have assigned me a new ip address and then was able to register.

Haven't read the whole thread, but my experience at Jackpot Party has been extremely positive. They're super-quick to pay, even back to a card rather than MB etc. They ask for ID after a certain amount of withdrawals, but they're quick to verify it. Can recommend - one of my current faves.

I deposited £100 last week at JP - got £200 to play with, and after a couple of hours withdrew £870 with no problems at all.

The slots are all good fun but (and I'd like a Rep to see this part) the video pokers have an irritating problem -

All video pokers have a payout schedule above the cards. This lights up depending on the winning hand, but on JP's video poker games, the payout schedule lights up before you complete the hand (before the cards are fully dealt/the hand is finished).

Example:

I press deal and a pair of Kings come out, but the schedule lights up "winning pair" before all five cards appear.
Obviously I hold the Kings and discard the other 3 cards.
As soon as I press [draw], the schedule lights up "three of a kind" and then 3 new cards are dealt, one of which is a King; this completes the hand.

It might not seem that big a deal, but I would imagine video poker fans (like I used to be) would find it very annoying. You hold 'four to a flush' and then know if you pulled the 5th card before you even see it.

Final update

It's been about a month now since I joined and things continue to be smooth and reliable. A couple of notes:

1) Cashouts ARE indeed fast. They seem to be processed in the morning (and perhaps once again during the day?) and I've never had one waiting there for longer than about half a day. Would be good to know from a rep if there are "regular cashout times" as such.

2) They fixed the slow spins problem! Not sure if this was an issue for other people or what but it's all good now. the one thing I have noticed is that on some of the slots (Platea, Bruce Lee, Griffin's Gate) there is a noticeable momentary freeze before a win or feature drops in. Could be the machine I'm using of course. Will try to test on my laptop when I have moment. Similar experience anyone?

3) CS is FAST. Like 3Dice fast or something. So refreshing after some of the longer chat sessions I've had in the past. CS very kindly gave me a small comp after I took a bit of a battering one day too. I really appreciate that - both personally and because it makes good business sense (I'm probably gonna lose it back realistically!). A very nice touch.

That's it really. This place is now in my top three regular online gambling destinations. Most importantly, the games are FUN and it's a solid and reliable operation. A few of my best wins attached (I hope, first time I've tried to upload a pic on here).

Hope you had a great weekend everyone.

I know exactly what you mean & I would find that very irritating too! :(

Grand Virtual had a similar glitch on their "Pinball" slot; as soon as you pressed "spin" your bank balance would immediately change to the value after the spin - before any of the reels had actually stopped!
Of course, it didn't make any difference to the play - except taking the fun out of it. So I used to move the game window down so the balance display was off the bottom of my screen!
They have fixed it now though

:sob: please please please please anyone has information about when these horny

video slots for the rest of the world are available buhuhuhu :(

ich heul gleich so geile video slots !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Extremely disappointed with this site:

Firstly I deposited £30 and got £60 to play with played Wizard of Oz at 0.90p

The first £40 only won once where i got a win of more than 0.90p even the 4 symbols only paid 0.60p

I then got five symbols which was only £4.50

Then it crashed and crashed again the loading of the games is extremely slow.

My money was gone in 15 mins including the crashes.

Only positives the countdown of the paythrough and the quickness of the deposit but I will not be playing here again.
