I was playing Jackpot Cleopatras Gold today at INet Bet, the jackpot started going up and the numbers were moving pretty fast. When I started playing the Jackpot was 287,307. 17. Hit spin a coulple of times and noticed the Jackpot was down to 287,299.54. I started watching the jackpot and it seemed everytime the Jackpot would reach 287,312 or a little higher it would all of sudden go back to 287,299 and some change. Could this be a glitch in the system or is someone really hitting the Jackpot that often? I have hardly ever heard of anyone hitting the jackpot, this is why I am bringing it up.

Thanks.

I suspect the "Jackpot Meter" is an automatic display which counts up all the time "just for show" and then gets reset to the correct value every so often - probably at a set time interval, rather than when it reaches a certain value.

This is what happens with Microgaming casinos; if you go to the Progressive Slots lobby in them you will see ALL the jackpots on ALL the slots increasing at exactly the same rate... :eek2:

I've noticed the same with the reel series a while ago, when I played Wok and Roll when it was just released, the RJ counted up really fast, then it reset back to its starting value again.
It did that 7 times in 15 minutes or so, thought it had gone nuts and kept giving out RJ's.
But not to me, lol.
I think KK is right, that the counting is just eye-candy..
