Is this common and what to expect when playing online casino's?

So signed up at betway.com and played an amazing amount of casino games. I actually kept the stats and had them confirmed by live support. In total I wagered $31,000 worth of bets and the average bet was $4 and for an hour or so straight I was betting $18 per play on a slot machine. The amount of time was between 30-40 hours.

Is this a lot of play? Is not hitting anything significant (out of all this play I hit two $300 scores, a $100 and a $270) that was it aside from all the $1-$15 hits.

I think it's safe to say I was not pleased with this result at all. I have never played so much and for so long in my life and I played quite a few different games for significant times.

Is this what I should expect playing in casino's? If it is, I will quit right now because how is that even fun? placing thousands upon thousands of bets and not hitting a significant jackpot or score for that matter.

Thanks :)

It depends on the games you played.

If your long session was close to "normal", you would expect to lose 5% of your total amount wagered in the process. If this cost you £1550, you have had a perfectly "normal" session. Even a loss of 2x this amount or more would be considered "normal, but rather unlucky".

It is also typical of this software to have significant swings in luck. The big payouts are rare, but a number of smaller payouts close together can often win you more than one memorable big payout from an otherwise "dry" session.

i hope this "swing" will "swing" soon as i consider to quit MG, yester day was my 60th deposit (on one casino) without single cashout, my cashout goal for these? 400$.... avrage deposit 80$.

i think its fair that casino make money, MG make money but at least give me a decent $ back, we dint find our money in backyard, no but hard earned $.

Yeah I have no luck at MG at all. I asked them to permanantly ban me from all MG casino's. Id rather not ever play there again to be quite honest. Sometimes ya win some and sometimes ya lose. With MG I dont even come close to winning ever

:eek2: And here I sit... willing to give my eye teeth to play at any decent MG casino again... LOL

Perhaps your bets are too high for your starting bankroll?

But then again... we're supposed to lose... the odds are against us before we even make the first spin. A few are lucky... most are not -- whatever the software.
