Hi Mike!
Do keep in mind that it was intended to be a gift - it certainly wasn't intended to interfere with ongoing play. Ideally there would be some way to automatically hold a bonus while funds are in the account, or there is ongoing activity, but that kind of thing isn't built into the system.
Other bonuses such as the welcome bonus actually do show a popup and tell you that a bonus has been put into your account and to tell support that you don't want it - as far as I know Klub8 is the only one that does this however.
There are some things we can automate and we try to do so in order to make the player experience as smooth as possible - and there are some things we wish we could do - but at the moment this is not one of those things we can do.
Marie did indicate that she wanted it removed, which is entirely correct - and support did give the correct answer in this case although with other bonuses, they can be removed right away. Since it was a gift, it did require management intervention - but then somehow it subsequently got treated as a standard bonus.
We will look to see if we can add additional information to the popups - like a link to T&Cs or something. I am not sure this is possible, as this should have been done the first time around - but I'll check again.
Thanks for your comments.

Well. You should be responsibe for that players are given every information when you credit them such free moneis. This kind of free money you gave the player is very unfamiliar even for me, however I play very much at Playtech. In case you hadn't jump in this thread, it would have had a cheating smell. It is okay that you want to use this method of showing generousity towards players, but it is not a reason that it is not integrated into the system. It is your problem, and you should solve it before you start crediting such things. You may behave also this way you did, that you don't inform players correctly, just like it happened in this case, but then do not be surprised if some will think you are fooling players.
Do you mean maybe a cashable bonus or a true gift, with no strings attached? "Gift" is not defined in your T&C, so I have no way of knowing what you mean by it.

Fortunately an experienced person

Good point Grand
Hi Grandmaster!
In my mind, a gift is something you give to someone - not something you give and then take back. If you follow this line of thinking, then the gift should not have been "phantom". So yes, a cashable bonus.

Well, in a world (Online Gambling) where everybody is referring to terms heavily, it is strange to refer to subjective thoughts

Anyway as many of us must have been experienced, in an online casino everything may happen. Just look at the banners of some sites: 1500 free - that is not free anyway. So a gift in a casino can easily be a not gift. Don't be surprised he misunderstood you.
Nice christmas gift of 150 then, instead of the birthday gift of 50.
Maybe I can try Klub8? Do they offer the opportunity to wager 0.1$ on roulette?
I see now how casinos can get rich. Some people never learn. Maphesto, there are many other casinos where you can withdrew your winnings right away after completing the WR. You don't need to wait 4 weeks to get the full amount you won

Is that 150 cashable at all? If not, this player lost 150 true winnings for 150 bonus. Not a very good deal.
Anyway generally speaking it is odd that things like this happen in case of an accredited casino. It is okay Klub8 jumped in, but it is not a reason to think: 'Okay, they decided to communicate, so they deserve the accredited title.' Some casinos out there who are not even accredited never do such things that Klub8, credit an unknown type of bonus suddenly. So it is odd.
