Hi XXXXX,

Recently we have undergone some dramatic changes to the way our business
operates. Over the last several months we have asked you the player to
give us feedback on what changes you would most like to see. You asked and
we were happy to listen and now the best part to deliver.

The following changes will be in effect as of July 1st 2008

* Deposit Bonus - Your choice if you would like a Deposit Bonus or
not. Some players do not wish to acquire a deposit bonus and meet wager
rules on Casino Games, if you do not receive a Bonus then you do not have
to wager.
* No Wager on Bingo Bingo the way it should be. You Win - We Pay!
* Casino and Other Games - A max. Wager of 12 x Bonus received. As
oppose to some sites that have 30 x play through rules, and hidden ones
you dont know about.
* Cash Back A New MBR (My Bingo Rebate) program offering players 10%
of the previous months deposit back if you have not had a cash out during
the month.
* Depositing Players Only players who have had a deposit on file
will now have access to pay to play rooms and chat.
* No Trial Offer We no longer offer Free Trial Bonus Monies, Instead
we will operate a Free Room on weekends at present where players can play
some Free Games to try the site.
* 200% Bonus Player wishing to acquire a deposit bonus will be given
200% on deposits of $75 or more.
* Cash Outs Processed every Wednesday providing you have your
request in by 11.59pm Tuesday evening.
* New Rooms- Fixed Dime and Nickel Pots from Noon Daily.
* Tournaments Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
* Progressive Realistic call numbers on patterns

We believe our site is the first Online Bingo site to now offer you some
of the above choices. We believe in keeping our players safe and happy and
above all making sure you have a good time all the time. We hope the new
changes will be the start of something exciting and a step in the right
direction into making I Play Bingo the best online bingo site.

One of the rules posted that I like, too, is that free players can't access the pay to play rooms....since most sites don't let you cash out on free money wins, these players have long been considered to be 'house players' and it's nice to know that if you deposit and lose, you aren't losing to a 'house player' anymore. That levels the competitive playing field considerably.

Sister sites to IPlayBingo: MajorBingo and BingoHotSpot (HotSpot was a free site only and may not even exist anymore)

A couple of thoughts I have

Many of us go to many sites, enter a room, and watch for 'same winners' to get a feel for the site prior to depositing. Without access to those pay rooms, this will be impossible to do so I think they should allow access, but disable the 'buy' button if you are entering with no or free money.

Another thought....if this many changes can be made to the same software they have used all along, is this an indication or "proof' that the software has been able to be manipulated in the site's favor as we have suspected for years now?

freerooms and rules

I would say a definite "yes" to the inherent ability of software options always existing for site owners and operators. It seems just a matter of control and greed that dictates the general usage and deployment of the optional factors built into the programs. From the auto chat monitors to the random number generators, it may be a matter of particulars to accomodate a sites agenda.
As far as the free rooms, they are certainly not indicative of the reality of a pay room by any means. While participation in a free area may allow you to see the patterns and graphics, it does not disclose a clue as to the possibility of a "same winner syndrome", house players, or attentive chat hosts. There is no possibility of losing money and little possibility of winning a game with a large volume of players. Some free rooms do not allow chat access to further inhibit your ability to investigate the ambience and mood of the site.
The player does not actively participate in making decisions that will affect a gaming venues outcome, such as when to play a specific game, how many cards to purchase, and in many cases, auto selection of cards is a programmed feature. You are more of a bystander than a "player". On top of this, it is an area where a site can bombard you with advertisements, promotional pop ups, and deposit bonus offers.
You win nothing....you lose nothing. Not a very exciting proposition for the real gambler, but does offer a looksee into selective operational style, the regulations and rules and a general visual format.

Changes to the rules - UPDATE

* Cash Back A New MBR (My Bingo Rebate) program offering players 10%
of the previous months deposit back if you have not had a cash out during
the month.

***Deposit bonus.....you are no longer allowed to OPT OUT of that bonus. You get it no matter what again. The opt out rule they implemented went into the toilet about three months after flocks of people showed up happy with that new rule.

***No Wager on Bingo....there is a 2X wager requirement (which includes that deposit bonus) is in place again. It came back when they did away with the opt out rule on the bonus.

***MBR Cash Back....this is a bonus they give to players based on deposits and cashouts. However, you CANNOT cashout on this free money even if you win because they consider them freebies just like a trial bonus when you first sign up at most sites. This ultimately turns you into a houseplayer against PAYING players so if you DO win, the money is kept at the site. Useless MBR CashBack that has you competing with your friends at the site.

Mainly because

they were two different subjects about IPlay...but this one was originally posted by me applauding their new rules and I wanted to make sure everyone knew they were short lived and it's back to business and usual at that site. Figured since it was still on topic that I should post it to this thread.
