Interesting read about what goes wrong when one gambling operator acquires another, especially when the acquired one is a bit dodgy.

Seems to hoover up businesses for sub-$30-50 million and maximize them, turning huge profits on most of them.

Boom or bust methodology for loose change - except that in the case of ITG, which appears to be a dud, an acquisition Sagi initiated!

Fraud, money-laundering and dubious audits from ITG followed, all of which shook me on a personal level, as I never believed casinos to be capable of such skulduggery :(

Still, whatever the outcome, let's take a collective moment of silence on the impact this will have on Sagi's $5.6 billion empire 🙏

LOL...A kind of poetic justice that Sagi, a convicted frauster who has served jail time and whose company was (allegedly) complicit in at least one case of player fraud (the infamous Playtech Joyland Casino jackpot scam which is well documented here), is now whingeing to the courts that someone has done him over. I think it's his pride rather than the money, about 1% of his worth, which bothers him most. "I con other people, NOT the other way round!!"
