Hi everyone,

I'm posting here to share my experience with Instant Casino and see if anyone has advice.

In a period of just 18 days, I deposited over €16,000. During this time, there were no 'Responsible Gaming' triggers, no check-ins, and no interventions from the casino's side, despite the high frequency and size of the deposits.

When I eventually reached out to them to discuss my net losses (which are €8,797) and asked about responsible gambling limits, they didn't offer help. Instead, they immediately blocked my account. I also have around €400 in earned cashback that was due, which they are now withholding.

I’ve sent a formal notice to their support and legal alias, but I'm being ghosted. I also searched the forum but couldn't find an official representative for Instant Casino to message first.

Has anyone dealt with this operator regarding duty of care issues before? I'm quite concerned about how they handled the situation once I raised the RG flag.

Thanks for any insights.

Jan Timon

Assuming the location in your profile is correct, how did you manage to sign up to this casino as the Netherlands is a restricted territory as per their T&C's. Were you using a VPN?

No VPN used, I singed up, deposited easy, no checks.

Only when i did a withdraw, they checked all things. (Bank account, adress etc) by making my account i put my correct adress also, so they already knew I live in the Netherlands..

I hate to sound cold hearted but I think this is a case of buyer’s remorse mixed in with the fact you were playing somewhere where you shouldn’t have. It is the players responsibility to become familiar with the terms of the casino they play at.

Your are better to focus your energies on seeking help to ensure you don’t get in this position again.

I wish you well.

It's always best to check terms before you play anywhere new. Especially places where you will be depositing five figures.

With that said, it is possible you checked the terms and played anyways. It seems to be quite a hobby for Dutch players to play at paying casinos that haven't properly enforced their restricted territories and then try to wangle their money back if they lose.

Let's be glad they paid out a restricted country as that could have got very messy and would have been a more valid issue.

Very strange that you were able to sign up and deposit if they knew your location and you didn't use VPN. On that screenshot of the terms it says they use technology to prevent people from even accessing the site.

Though for what it's worth I just tried the site and it allowed me to access it no problem, no warning about my country and I'm not using a VPN. Pretty dodgy. Not going to see if I can sign up too though.

I didn’t need to use a VPN to take the screenshot either.
