In retrospec I am quite glad that depositing was taken out of my hands a while back. Reading thread after thread of players having issues with hidden terms for bonuses, depositing and withdrawal problems makes me glad I am on hiatus from online gambling.
I found online gambling around 2000. Had a LOT of fun playing at MG casinos, found some really nice RTGs and a few Rivals. Through the years the number of "great" casinos started to dwindle down, especially after the UIGEA went into effect. Then it seemed like a lot of new casinos were popping up left and right, luring in players with "too good to be true" SUBs.
Then came the Neteller debachle. Many players were caught in that mess. Playing the waiting game to receive their money.
Next started casinos accusing players of being bonus abusers, negative value players, advantage players, and closing accounts due to too many withdrawals... The list goes on and on.
Once again players are caught up in the Ewalletxpress issue. Next will likely be QT. Master Card did me a huge favor when they blocked me from depositing into the casinos and then into QT (never tried Ewalletxpress, thank goodness!). Then QT came along with ACH, which I tried a few times, but didn't like the fees attached to be able to lose my money in a matter of minutes.
I chose to close out most of my accounts as depositing was becoming a real challenge. Now I'm glad I made that decision (I've noticed I'm not alone in this). Last week I thought I may take a chance and sign up with the echeckUS, but am thinking now I will bide my time, continue visiting my local B&M until things with the UIGEA are determined.
For those who CAN still make deposits and play at the more favorable casinos (where most players from the USA are banned) kudos to you! I'm jealous, as this so called land of the free is anything but!
Thanks for letting me vent!
P.S. Is there anyone in the UK who would like to temporarily adopt a middle aged, short, frumpy, but hard working woman for awhile???
