Hey Guys,

what do you think about Playtech? Besides the fact that a lot of Playtech Casinos have a quite long withdrawal time, i still think the software is great.

-> Impressive Graphics
-> Great different slots with really cool features (Let's think about features like on Fantastic Four, ...)

My impression is that on some slots it is really hard to trigger the feature, but since i started again to play quite a lot Playtech i fell in love again with the software. Because most of the feature when you trigger them pay quite good, especially the "non-free-spin" ones or "special freepins".

90% of the features i triggger pay at least 30+ my bet... Had some really high ones the last couple of days...

The cool thing is, not even just the really high variance slots (like Great Blue) even the lower ones seem to pay quite good amounts during the features...

I always was not that much of a fan of Playtech slots, but since i gave these slots another shot i'm totally in love with them...

Am i the only one? :)

The slots are great, the casinos are awful. Catch 22! :D

That's the big problem, the same problem Rival has, good software, awful operators (except Sloto of course:))

There are a small number of Playtech operators in the accredited section though, so it should be possible to enjoy the software and trust that you will receive fair treatment. The problem is the vast number of less reputable operators that market quite aggressively in some cases.

We also have a small number of accredited operators that turn rogue overnight, such as the infamous example of Betfair suddenly screwing players after having received accreditation, and refusing to budge even though this decision put them in the rogue pit.

You always have to "watch your back" with Playtech, and also not be fooled by the branding. William Hill, for example, is NOT as well behaved as one would expect from the branding, and never made it to accredited here, which has caused some confusion among newbies as to why such a high profile brand is NOT considered worthy of accreditation.

Many Playtech brands are operated as white labels, so you can't be sure who you are really dealing with, the company who's brand is being used, or some entity based offshore that has merely paid a fee to be allowed to use the brand.

Quite probably.

I've always been a fan of Playtech games. Actually it seem that Playtech is the only brand where I don't have constant software glitches - the only complaint in that regard is that (if you're not in full screen mode) whenever you open a new game it just seems to pick a random place on your screen to open.

That and the fact that it's hard to find a decent operator.

Weird though, have you noticed how much disk space a downloaded Playtech casino takes?

2.5 GB on my disk... :)

Good Playtech Casinos

Well, I've always been a fan of Playtech. I only really play one game, DareDevil. It's a high variance slot but I've mostly been lucky....up until a couple of months ago when I won the Power Jackpot at Boyle Casino (It was roughly £150GBP). I only play 0.20 a spin so I was thrilled to win the minor progressive, then all changed :( I had a bad run which lasted weeks so I stopped playing. I've just started playing DareDevil again and it's paying out ok. IMO Boyle Casino is by far the best, the main reason being that all my withdrawals have been processed and in my bank account the very next day! The other Playtech casino I've had a similar experience with is Coral Casino; anything I've cashed out has reached my bank within 2 days max.:D

Love playtech..play exclusively at Omni (for a playtech) and have never had any issues with cashouts. The slots can pay big especially the ones that have the 10x and over multipliers.

I've had some pretty big hits on them and several months ago I posted one of a win on Irish Luck with 5 scatters triggering the spins paying something like $900 on a .90 bet.

Playtech has huge paying slots, great graphics and with the right operator decent bonuses and withdrawal times.

But the slots are so damn tight. When one slot is playing poor and bonus activations are non existent, the rest of the slots seem to play the exact same way.

I do still dabble at Playtech every so often but only tend to play on a 100% bonus. Its also an idea to stay away from the newer slots like Marilyn Monroe,Sultans Gold and Thor as the variance on these is crazy high. Any time I have put a few hundred spins through them I'm lucky to see an rtp over 50% or a single free spins bonus round.

If I compared my average play time on every software I know Playtech would be bottom of the list.

They can be tight yes, but when you hit bonus rounds, they can pay really big... I also have some slots where i get features pretty frequently (Example: King Kong). But yeah, one of the tight software's... Still, for me RTG is much, much, much worse when it comes to playtime :)

Back when I could still play Playtech, my favourite games were great Blue, Gladiator, Rome & Glory and Fantastic Four - I pretty much played these exclusively. Had some of my biggest wins on these slots :p

I really enjoy playing Playtech (one of the platforms I still actually play). The bonus rounds aren't frequent but they do pay out. I play Playtech or that reason, the big pay-outs that are capable on their slots. I don't generally play to win but Playtech has been good to me :)

I like Great Blue, Penguin Vacation, Halloween Fortune, and Mister Cashback.

The old slots are good and can pay high when they are in the mood and that's rare.
But the newer slots are terrible.

I played a selection of new slots the last few days.

Weds £70 deposit-50 £1 spins on Marilyn Monroe left me with £35 and no bonus round, played Sultans Gold at £0.40 and got less than 100 spins and no bonus round.

Thurs £75 deposit- 200 £0.40 spins on Marilyn Monroe no bonus round left me £25,played 100 spins on Thor at £0.50 and again no bonus round.

Fri £100 deposit-300 £0.50 spins on Sopranos and no free spins bonus left me £25,Cowboys and Aliens around 40 £0.45 spins and one free spin bonus round paid £10 left me £30,Penguin Vacation 100 £0.20 spin left me £18 and no bonus round and Sultans Gold 150 £0.20 spins and no bonus round finished me off.

So £245 deposited an average bet size between £0.20 and £0.50. Around 1000 spins and 1 free spins bonus round in total.Poor!

I admit something always draws me back to Playtech, probably the large win potential. But these sort of stats make me want to through my laptop out of the window.

The Marilyn Monroe one is the tightest slot i think i have ever played.

I have only had the feature 4 times since it came out and by no means have i not tried. I have played it maybe 20 times betting $0.20, $0.40 and $1 on different occasions and most times just give up or run out of money after 400-500 spins. I do see the big potential so that's why like a dummy i keep trying.

I really like the Archer one, i have had some huge wins on it but it has to be hot from the start or i find it doesn't want to pay out.
Other favourites are Great Blue, Gladiator, Rome and Glory and Irish Luck.

I agree that Playtec is a hell of a lot tighter than most platforms but imo have bigger potential and more interesting game features.

I play at Betfred as i thought they were the fastest with Neteller withdrawals and accept Aussie players and in the beginning were only taking up to 24 hours to pay but now my last few have taken a little over the 48 hour mark, so i dont know if this is the norm now or what. Anyone know any accredited casinos that pay faster and Aussies can play? I miss bet365 :(
