Won 3750$ on a 90cent bet on the "Break da Bank Again" slot at RedFlush yesterday (over x4000 win!)

Great right? However I kept on shaking and my nerves seem somewhat shot. Even after I completed the WR, I continued gambling because I couldn't
bring myself to stop and lost about 400$ since my big win. Not like me at all. Right now I just want to stop thinking about it but since yesterday I keep thinking about two things;

1) I want to gamble and win big again........(I know terrible thinking eh)

2) When/Is RedFlush going to process my withdrawal and am I going to be dragged through the mud trying to get my money out (fyi; its my first withdrawal on a welcome bonus so........)?

In actuality I don't want to be thinking/doing either of the above. I have a 40 hour / week job, a girlfriend and other priorities, but I'm a nervous wreck and thinking about just gambling since my big win.

Anyway thanks for listening......This thread took about 5-10 minutes to write, which means 5-10 minutes less time for gambling or thinking about gambling lol

My friend, well done on your win and cashing out!

A bit of advice from a fellow gambler; set deposit limits or take a small vacation from gaming until you've used those funds for something productive. I would normally agree that gambling what is 'extra' to you is harmless in most cases but it sounds like you could develop some unsavoury habits if you don't control your gaming before it controls you.

Enjoy online gaming responsibly and rinse casinos; don't let them rinse you.

Way to go on your big win:notworthy You`will get paid so not to worry. Just have patience (uninstall the casino if it helps). Please do not reverse. Well done jshort.

I started reading and thought you lost it all. Well done, we all put something back after a good win,
you still have a nice WD pending.
Do they offer some sort of cool down period? Ask, get your docs sorted and congrats ;)

You could withdraw half and keep the other half to play with who knows you might hit something even better! You could be on a winning streak even if you don't win again you still have a huge withdrawal.

I think if you don't bet big you can't win big (people will say you can win big on high variance games with a small bet but how likely is that after all it's high variance) so while you have that big balance I'd use it high rolling on medium variance games :)

Right, you got the 5 sapphires with wilds in the freespins. WTG
Red Flush have a 24-hours pending period. Assuming you already actioned the w/d it will be done before the weekend, as they don't process weekends. Thursday after 16:00 GMT is the WORST time to do a w/d at Red Flush as it will sit reversible until Monday. So, if you actioned it before then, get drunk and sleep for a day and it'll be to 'work in progress' stage when you wake up.
If you didn't PM RITHEN THE RF REP AND ASK FOR A FLUSH OR FREEZE until processed. He is a good chap and will no doubt help you.
Don't spunk it back or you'll be chasing it forever and soon lose the 3750 plus more.

COME ON! GET WITH IT AND USE SOME WILLPOWER!

P.S. Don't worry about docs - it will go to work-in-progress THEN they will ask for them in order to complete the w/d. It won't sit reversible while the docs are verified which at RF is pretty quick IIRC.

Breathe, Deep breath. Need to get this under control becasue it can obviously spiral out of control. Next thing you know you are then spending all your pay checks chasing a win.

Consider yourself fortunate that you got a huge win.

I bet all of us treat the balacne in our casino account differently after a huge win. We are more willing to make larger bets that we would never do on a small deposit.

Once you have the money in your hands, then hopefully you will treat it like its yours and only deposit and play how you normally would.

Take a minute and sit down and write yourself a note to why it is best not to gamble any more of the balance. Maybe if you can think this though and get it put on paper it will help to get your mind off playing right now.

Thanks for the responses.

Err, I reveresed twice. Only 20$ each time so not a biggie, but I'm trying to fight it because I believe it'll delay my withdraw being processed. Redflush doesn't allow flushing.

I fully expect to be asked for documents. I'm not as organized as others on here and usually don't automatically submit documents upon registration (I guess I should eh).

Yes I need a small vacation and perhaps some "calm me down pills".

No chance. That'd be nearly 2000$ left inside and with my mental state the way it is right now, even if I won big again, I'd just bet bigger again and it'd eventually twindle to zero.

Clever, yes that's the one; I actually ended up winning north of 3800$ total due to smaller wins on the other free spins if they count
Thanks for the advice Dunover, I'll message RITHEN.

redflushcasino.eu/policies/responsible-gaming.asp

SELF EXCLUSION
Players can opt to self-exclude themselves from our casino for a limited period. Our casino has 3 self-exclusion periods to help players who have problem gambling:

A minimum 24 hours cooling-off period
A minimum 7 day cooling-off period
A minimum 6-month self-exclusion period

Please first submit written requests via this email address: [email protected] or, should you prefer, via the LIVE Chat feature (launch live chat).

Why don't you just open their chat and talk to them openly, like you did here? Tell them you want to withdraw your winnings and cool down a bit before you continue gambling. They are a reputable casino and I am sure they will cooperate and won't try to fool you into something.

Also, do not worry about being dragged through the mud with your first withdrawal; again, they are reputable and accredited, reasonable verification requirements, quick payouts, high payout limits. I hope you did not play the prohibited games or anything.

Time to read a good book? Get out of the house and away from the computer! Go for dinner, go to movies. Do anything that does not require a computer until your Adrenalin rush stops.

Indeed. It would be cheaper for him to WRECK his computer and get over $3300 back as a w/d which he has left, than keep his PC safe and get nothing back.

Please - write a list of items you want to buy and/or things you want to pay/save with $3300. :)
Spend the next few days looking forward to receiving the funds. When you do, and this list is satisfied have another play for $50 from your regular spending money if you have any next week. This will be far more enjoyable than playing again in future on the back of a numb disappointment at 'what could've been...'

Don't worry - if your INITIAL reversal is less than the original trigger-withdrawal, it won't slow it down. If you reverse the WHOLE amount, yes it will start the process all over. Funnily enough, check my 4-reel shitstorm thread. I'll try and find it and edit this for you in a mo.

I got this at RF's sister-site Casino laVida. Only half of your monster win, but got it paid promptly as I had part-reversed a small w/d (which I seldom ever do!) and the w/d period wasn't affected.

If only you could watch charity adverts on loop. I try and think of the less fortunate when I win big it really helps its like imagine how much use that money could be to someone who has nothing and we are all fortunate having a roof over our heads etc.
The other advice is great too get out the house try and socialize with friends and family as much as possible take up a new hobbie there is also websites you could confide in a friend and get them to hold the password you can disable certain sites to prevent you accessing them just until the wd is on its way and non reversible.
This nifty software you download set password(get friend to set it) then get password back off friend after your heads cooled and enjoy your winnings! Make sure you buy them a few drinks/meal in appreciation of there help and support! Hope this helps ya and amazing win on BDBA!!

I'll also mail you this mate just so you definitely see it

Well don on win, Best it is leave it now, Forget about the 400 you spent back I always put some back in, Just do not start chasing it even with 20 reversals, As I will guarantee b4 you no it be chased down to you hit zero, Than deposit again,
I got my 1st good hit yrs back at ladbrooks, near 3gs and blew about 1400 in a instant upping my bets thinking its paying, I was glad when received the rest,

You no that, Funny thing is normally with me its to late lol, reversed it all than I start thinking

It is always anxiety provoking waiting for a big payout, at least it is for me. It's been very rare for anything to go wrong for me, but I've encountered a few delays over the years. Longest was a four day delay last year over holiday season, and the casino did keep me in the loop, and even offer me an alternative method. At one point I certainly felt it was longer!

At times, bank transfers have taken a day or two more than usual, you always worry it's got lost somewhere.

One was a Skrill issue. The win was paid prompty, but I'd did enough to-ing and fro-ing to exceed my withdrawal limits to send it to my bank account! Didn't take too long to solve with some additional verification to Skrill to increase limits.

One of my most memorable delays was Christmas week of 2000. Almost every casino terms say document requests must be met in a timely manner, and my daughter and SIL showed up on New Year's day to take my stuff home to scan and my daughter's water broke! Needless to say scanning my docs for a smaller cashout fell way down the list of things to do! I was pretty new to online gambling then and wasn't sure what timely was, but it was well over a week back then. The casino was most understanding, and I was paid very promptly after they were submitted.

Made a first withdrawal at a casino a day or two before a holiday to Cuba, where I didn't bring anything for internet access and no access to any gambling sites. It was almost 2K withdrawal, and I checked at 5:30 am when I arrived home a week later.

Use the time waiting to decide how to spend your money. If you used an ewallet, transfer it immediately, or at least most of it if you decide to keep a portion to be your bankroll.

If you haven't provided your docs, get them together, you will be asked for them. I don't think I was at RedFlush, but my withdrawal was much smaller, and most casinos have a threshhold where they are required to ask for them.

If you took a bonus and feel confident you didn't break the terms, take a deep breath, and say "Awesome".

Enjoy your win, that's an amazing hit for a medium sized bet. Such hits are very very rare.

I look forward to you telling us how you made good use of your funds.

Nothing interesting, plan is to just pay off two of my credit cards which I've been using for gambling deposits as they've got a massive 25% annual interest rate on cash advances :eek2:

I think someone above mentioned "restricted" games. I don't recall reading about any restricted ones in the T&Cs. Some didn't have any WR contribution though. In anycase, I don't think I played anything other than slots. I did keep note not to raise my bets too high as I noted a wagering limit in the T&Cs about not wagering more than 20% of bonus. Breaking this rule is often an exercise in patience after one has won a huge sum.

Once I had my withdrawal denied from my bank and returned to the casino, because the amount was too big (3 times my yearly income, unemployed).
Fun times….
Not really…..

Update:

I caved a bit; Made one more 20$ reversal (total 3), but then the withdrawal couldn't be reversed, so the temptation to reverse again was gone :)

Sending one of the three required docs has become a bit of a nuisance; I eventually decided to just put tape over my credit card # and then just black out the numbers with a marker. However when I went to the library to use the scanner, their system was down and I couldn't sign on so gonna try again tomorrow I guess. I'm glad I'm doing it, as once my credit card and phone bill is on my computer, I won't have to do this shit again, so I'm glad to be doing it now.

You know if you have a smart phone with a camera you can take a picture that way. It's worked for me at many a casino. My phone is almost 3 years old but takes good pics of documents and such. You can then attach them to email straight from your phone. Just a thought.

Thank God your withdrawal is now in the work in progress area. :)

Why not just take a digital picture of it (with phone, camera, etc) and then pass the picture to your computer?

It doesn't take clear pics. Another casino rejected a phone pic of my passport but I guess its worth a shot again. Thanks for the adive.

Glad I could help. Remind me to tell you something after you receive the money.

Keep in mind. A 4000x hit will be followed be 4000 dead spins!
That is not what actually happens, but thinking it as a mathematical equation helps realize how lucky you have been. Even after you get the money, please remember:

If you don’t stop before you lose all your money, you will stop because you lost all your money.

In the long run you will always lose, so keep it short!

Great to hear you cant reverse your withdrawal any more. I normally keep a small amount of money in my e-wallet so should I hit a big win I simply deposit $20 once or twice to contain my gambling urge. Stopping altogether is easier said than done so for me tiny deposits do work.

That is really good advice and I am going to start following that myself. I find with reversals that if I do it just once - with a relatively small amount then it is like my willpower has been broken and I end up doing the lot. Usually gradually over 5-6 reversals but ultimately I end up with nothing. If I do not reverse at all I usually have the willpower to leave alone although usually I have to uninstall the casino (where possible). Particularly at Playtech casinos where there is usually a 5 day reversal period.

Been there done that but can't afford the t-shirt:lolup: I have lost many a winnings in this way. So I am loathe to play at casinos that have a mandatory pending period and don't allow flushing. I hate the feeling you get after you reversed a win and then lose it all.:( So the best advice I would give is to stick to casinos that have flushing withdrawals available to players:) If there is no way to reverse then you can't lose it all.

In the several days since, I'm embarrassed to admit I've blown more than usual. Prolly another 300$ across 4-5 casinos (those SUB with x40 wagering really suck!).

I'm very fortunate though as just today I just started a 38 hour /week job in the government which requires a tiring 50 minute bike ride to and from. If the job plus cycling don't tire me out enough to avoid gambling, then at least I'll be fortunate enough to have less time for gambling.

Congrats on the win and the new job. Definitely good to have something else to keep your mind away from the sounds and lights of the slots. Just try to stay strong and resist playing. Set up limits if you have to. I am all too familiar with how the slots can do a complete 180 after winning and within an instant can decimate your entire winnings, leaving you angry and regretful. And trust me you really don't want to experience that.

I had a similar experience 2 years ago when trying to withdraw at Jackpot City regarding ID not supposedly being received. I had been playing there a while with no luck then one night I ended up with a balance of £2500 after getting 5 scatters during the free spins on Mermaids Millions (£900) then hitting a straight flush on a poker game on only my 5th spin which paid £2000.

I received a mail the next morning asking for a passport pic, utility bill etc and I duly e mailed them off and thought that was the end of it. 5 days later nothing so I ring them up and am told nothing received so I resend them only to be told again nothing received. As a newbie to on line gambling it was twitchy bum time and i was thinking the worst especially when i sent them off a third time only to be told nothing received. Yet another phone call ensued where they suggested I should fax them instead which I did, and to my relief 3 days later the money was in my account.

I've never had any trouble with Jackpot City since and I'm sure your casino will sort things out soon enough. Last year I won £850 at 32 Red on only my third deposit and thought here we go again- imagine my surprise when 48 hours later the money is in my account without any request for documents:thumbsup:
It is the same at Guts where I believe they only request ID if you win over £2500, I signed up there 2 months ago and have made quite a few withdrawals without any hassle and the money is in my bank within 48 hours.

As a side note I only signed up to 32 Red and Guts after reading the reviews on Casinomeister so it's a big thumbs up to CM from me for a very informative and useful website.

People are too quick on here. Good to hear you eventually got your winnings fair and square. I might have a similiar case, but deleted talking about anything yet. Figure I was posting out of anger and thought I'd wait and see how things settle first :)

ps: Gotta complain to Bryan about not having some kind of "no-reading new posts in the first 30 minutes" button or something :p

Finally got it withdrawn :)

Scotiabank might charge some 120$(3%) exchange fee, idk, but I'm just glad I'm out of the mud pit now.

Now if only I could do the same with Wintingo. They've been dragging me through the mud for nearly three weeks for just a measily 350$ withdrawal :eek2:

Glad you got it sorted in the end, you must feel a lot of pressure/urges have gone now :-)

Enjoy the winnings and don't put it all back!
