SOFTWARE PROVIDER REALTIME GAMING SOLD TO LICENSEE

Point-Spreads.com has learned from a very reliable source that a large internet gambling company and current licensee has purchased the source code and programming team of Realtime Gaming (RTG). The new ownership's plan for RTG are unknown at this time.
The corporate website of RTG has been stripped down to a landing page which directs licensing inquires to Hastings International B.V. based in Curacao.

Their website goes on to say: "Hastings International BV is an Authorized Distributor of RealTime Gaming software. Our Account Managers service some of the most successful online casino operators around the globe, consulting on all aspects of the online gaming industry from start-up to technology and software to staffing. Contact us today to explore the possibilities and the steps to success for your online casino business."

The "War on Internet Gambling" by the United States government apparently spooked the American ownership group so they decided to sell. "Even though RTG doesn't own or operate casinos directly they just didn't want to risk getting into legal troubles," stated a source close to the former owners of RTG.

One man's pain is another man's pleasure. This move is just one of many shrewd business decisions the acquiring entity has pulled off over the last several years.

So McMain and company are trying to get out once and for all. I'm hopeful that the "personal liability" laws on the books though, will still hold them accountable.

What a sorry state of affairs.

Without trying to be "confrontational"..let me pose what I think is a legitimate - and fair - question..

Knowing RTG's sordid history (especially their RECENT history..) how can anybody or any site actually state that it's ok to patronize "accredited" RTG casinos?

No knock on Bodog and 49er and King Solomon etc, but geez,,,,,if a casino is willlingly dealing with below board people - like RTG - what does that make them? Aren't they helping to sustain and support an entity that has been well documented as being below board?

The logic here is very convoluted and twisted..it's akin to stating that just because a criminal doesn't rob ALL of his neighbors, and actually does some good deeds for SOME people, all is forgiven,,,,that's total bunk in my book...

"No knock on 49'er"???

You say, "No knock on Bodog and 49'er, etc...." but do you realize that 49'er has been taking US player's deposits for weeks knowing full well that they have no outlet in which to pay out winnings??? To me, this is absolutely criminal and should have resulted in them being shut down, or at least issuing refunds to those of us who deposited in good faith, won, and then were just plain STUCK. they won't even respond to emails about this...at best, this is definitely not a casino that should be included in a sentence about REPUTABLE RTG casinos.

You are 100% right...but as far as I can see in this same section on the forum, MG casinos operated by prestigious groups such as Carmen Media, Jackpot Factory (well, they've lost some of their prestige in the "heal from breast cancer while increasing your penis size" SEO storries), etc...are doing the same thing.
They take money from US players while they aren't sure they will be able to pay them...sad.
On the other side, I would be VERY worried if I was one of RTG licensees knowing that RTG was sold to one of my competitors which will have full access to my client's database.
This database of all RTG licensees's clients worth gold.

Hey..at least the CON-A-WACKY folks are standing by RTG and their crooked cadre of thieves (that means you Crystal Palace...)

I just received this message today from that "Outstanding" licensing group:

Hello David,

We have herd back from the operator and it was stated that your account is closed due to a breach of threatening to make charge backs which is a direct breach of the terms and conditions your winnings have been void and will not be paid out.

Thanks CON-A-WACK- JOBS! You have about as much credibility as Rosie O'Donnell!!!!

i thought, it was KS group, who bought them - but maybe the rumours in this german small village are the wrong ones...:what:

I don't get it???!!

They take money from US players while they aren't sure they will be able to pay them...sad.
All the casinos have been doing this since November and the passage of the UIGEA and players are still flocking to the casinos regardless of what platform they use...now who is the dummy?

Why do you guys (in the USA) insist on supplying funds to these casinos knowing full well all the horror stories from the get go thinking you will be different?

I don't get it...you give them money, they have no withdrawal button or lots of excuses, then you complain....whats wrong with this picture except for the fact that USA players are a tad thick in the head and are practicly "forcing" money upon these people...think they want you to stop that ...geez...they will keep taking as long as you guys are dumb enough to give..

No offense to anyone in particular...but I am not getting the, deposit lots of money vs no withdrawal vs complaining vs knowing about the money transfer issues???? Hello? Anyone home?

Stop playing....thats all it takes...geez...take a trip, save for a nice weekend off to your favorite place...get a fix that way...take a partner/friend/family member and you will enjoy yourself that much more than sitting screaming at your monitor and "praying" just maybe your withdrawal will slip through the net of no withdrawals....
