There are a few in the 'Winner Screenshots' thread. Yes, it is rare but happens once in a blue moon, like when Rushmore send a cheque out. You aren't the only person to question this:

That's probably because getting wilds on the first two reels doesn't mean that you win big
It maybe will just be the first three reels that pays any. Happened to me the other day.

Here one from April. The vine never reached the first reel but I had a nicely placed normal wild.

The chances are just insane did 50-70 wild wine in 2days and it never moved to reel 1-2, 3-5 is normal reel 4 happens now and then also.

But tbh its just like TFROL ive lost count of the times it dosent show on reel 4 with everything perfect lined up for some huge wins.

The best way to view the Wild Vine 'feature' is like the Sh!tstorm on Thunderstruck 2. You say quite rightly that the WV feature only hits 3 or 3 & 5. Sh!tstorm likewise only hits 1 or 2 reels 499/500 times. Very occasionally you'll see 3 reels of wilds, similarly very occasionally you'll be blessed with 3,4,5 on the WV feature, and even rarer the stupid thing going left rather than right....

I is such a rare occurence. I find now I stick more to Thunderstruck and do the Loki wilds at least I can see it go on reel 1 and 2 in a spin. The Wild Vines have really made me stay more clear of it. As for TFROL I found the payouts for the regular games lower so I tend not to go there expecially when a 5 of a kind only pays 1 or 2 times bets on the low number symbols.

I gave up on wild vine ages ago, it just laughs at me 99% of the time, usually take Micheal's instead.

I have played around 500 of these rounds in about 4-5 diff casinos and never had a wild vine symbol of 1st or 2nd reel or for any good combination the best win in around 500 of these bonus rounds were 50x bet and that came without wild vine. around 100 didn't even show wild vine and the rest 390 wild vine came on 3rd reel when it was useless as it didnt give no winning combo

the rest 10 times it gave me a win of 10-20x so i have swore of choosing this feature just go for 10 spins x5 as if i get 1 good spins the payout would be atleast 50x while these 25-28(extra scatters add a spin) spins never pay more than 10x -20x

You have to be extremely lucky to get an excellent win which i find i'm not

I also got fed up with the predictable nature of the "random" vines. I now only choose the Amber feature as it more quicker and painless than watching the vines light up a reel with no wins.

Just in case someone haven't noticed yet, all the wilds from the vine features (TSII, IR and TFROL) land from left to right. For example, the vine will never never drop a wild on the 5th reel and then later drop one on the 3rd during that same spin.

So when it starts with the 3rd reel, don't expect it to *maybe* drop one on the 1st or 2nd reel because it can't.

Lazy programming was involved with this bonus round unfortunately. The "best" version of it is definitely the last one (TFROL's).

Well it finnaly happend to me this past weekend in two different bonus features had the wild vines go into the 1 and 2nd reel but both times were only 1 or 2 times bet but at least it is not a myth to me no more.

Why this feature is so fucking bad-- just got 32 spins = 2 times wild on middle and no wins.. total win from feature was 5x stake
