Hello all and ty for welcoming me to your site! i "googled" this site and found out that it is the most accredited casino site on the internet so i feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

I do need to ask a question tho, and being new to "forums" i am not sure where or how to post this question, so i hope im in the right place.

yesterday, i was awarded $31.00 NO DEPOSIT bonus at Breakaway Casino and i used it well. I won $233.00 which it says I AM able to withdraw. In cashier section it said "amount eligible for withdrawal - $233.00" which is great but they want me to fill out a form and include a scanned copy of my driver's license, my CREDIT CARD and a CREDIT CARD STATEMENT. Now, I have no intention of making deposits at this casino and am wondering if i need to still do this and MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL - IS THIS NORMAL PROCEDURE???? DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT IDENTITY THEFT OF ANY KIND BY DOING THIS?

Please help ASAP so i may claim my winnings.

Thank you to all

:)

Thanx for that link noluck but i still am hesitant about sending a photocopy of my drivers license, credit card, and credit card statement (I find that one odd). I've never been asked for a credit card statement before, usually only a utility bill. Is this something to be concerned about or am i just being paranoid?

quite honestly

I am certain you sending this stuff woul dbe 100% safe however if you dont feel comfortable then i wouldnt do it after all you havent lost anything.:)

you're probably right - im just paranoid by nature. i've had to scan drivers license, credit card and utitlity bill before but never credit card statement, so was just feeling a wee bit shaky on the idea but it's probably safe. Wonder if casinomeister himself may know anything about this casino? how do i contact him?

:D

Hi Quitemad, welcome :)

There is another current issue where a player signed up and requested a bonus but didn't do it through an approved affiliate or advertising campaign, I hope you didn't get $31 link off a forum unless it was bona-fide:eek2: otherwise you may not be eligible to recieve your winnings.

Is this an RTG casino? If so, many of them show $xxx dollars as withdrawable, even if you haven't met the wagering requirements or if the amount is over the maximum value of the free chip. Some, have two windows, one showing the remaining WR and the other the balance.

On te page nle linked for you I read this:
c) The maximum cash out is $50 after meeting play through requirements. Your account balance will be reduced to zero after making the withdrawal.
under the free chip rules... were there other terms written, such as 10x max cashout or $233 maximum?

Not trying to be a downer, just giving you some heads-up.

Good luck:thumbsup:

edit: Also, if you have no intentions of ever depositing at this casino, why would you accept an invitation to play? Free money? Why wouldn't you patronize the business if it gave you free money for simply wagering with their money, I don't get it.

Did you deposit using your credit card? They probably want to see that your deposit has cleared? Not sure, but when waiting on a payout one time I was asked for a copy of my instadebit account, to show the deposit had cleared.

I have given copies of card front/back and various statements out.

Blank out the middle 4 numbers of any card.
For the statements, I just gave the very top half and blanked almost everything, so basically it was just the address left and name of bank, for proof of residence! Blank it all out, and if they complain, let them into the really unimportant stuff bit by bit, but i would NEVER send a complete card number, or any statement that showed my transactions.

It should be fine, but if this is a dodgey rogued casino then i spose they cud do anything!

It is normal to be asked for these sooner or later when getting money out.

It is RTG.
On a rivals portal  it says this about the No Deposit $31 bonus:-
You will need to wager your bonus twenty times before cashing-in. Maximum cash-in is $50.00 and any winnings will only be sent by NETeller or Moneybookers. No comps will be granted for playthrough generated with the free money promotion bonus. Follow our link for further promotion details. Slots only counts towards wagering
The casino's site says the same. (Different page to the one noluckever found & linked above)

So it's $50 max & if you're in the USA it sounds like you're SOL. :(

Sending of faxed documents is standard at most RTG's, but as you haven't deposited & it's only for the sake of $50, is it worth it?
Probably safe, but only you can decide if you want to do it or not.

PS. Welcome to the forum!

Please go here :
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/

and send the Scifi/Breakaway representative a Private Message. He will need to know your Breakaway user ID. He may clarify the T&C (terms & conditions) for the bonus for you, and can let you know if you may indeed cash out at all.

Also... just my personal opinion here... if you didn't use your credit card to deposit, I see no reason to send a copy of it to them. Ask the rep what can be sent instead. If you did deposit w/cc then scan it (marking over the bits mentioned earlier) and email it to them.

Welcome to the forum, and Good luck.

hi all and ty all for your advice! lojo? I did not deposit AT ALL and i have no intention of doing so. i don't have a neteller account anymore because, here in canada, they don't do those transactions anymore, so the only way to deposit for me is via credit card, which i don't like to do over the internet and that is why i don't deposit.

Also, the $31.00 bonus was not through a link, but rather was sent to me via a promotional email from breakaway themselves. I read the email and it said as long as i wagered 200 times more than the bonus, i could cash out my winnings. i did so and have been told i CAN cashout, my only concern is this whole scanning of credit cards and credit card statements and driver's licenses that i don't like.

And, to be honest, yes, i just use the free money the casinos give me and NEVER deposit and i have received numerous cheques in the m ail in the past without giving any of that info with no problems.

:)

I have never used a CC to deposit but I have been asked many times for this info I think it is a standard withdraw email
I would contact the casino an let them know that you didnt deposit with a cc an see what they say
I have sent in many copies of DL CC an CC statements even tho I never used a CC I think it is one way that they check to see if you are who you say you are

Good Luck

Come to think of it; after work, going to the store for beer, with no intention of buying a cheese ball or boar's head sausage, Ive stopped by the sample table and had a bite... 'oooh that's gooood, thank you...' but I might buy boarshead someday, I really might :)

Welcome Quit

Hi, Im Babs and I have been scanning my docs to both RTG and MG for over a year now and never had a problem (except when I accidently used GBP instead of US LMAO) anyway...This is very normal and in some cases you may be asked for a copy of a voided check or phone bill, that is also par for some casinos
