Hi all,

I had a strange email last night stating that videoslots removed an IGT slot called Golden Jungle. Below is the email in full.

Hi,

We would like to inform you that your account has been refunded for the amount of GBP4.37

Not so long ago we identified an issue with the game “Golden Jungle” which negatively impacted the RTP for players. Thus, we immediately removed this game from our selection and it is no longer available for any of our customers to play. This was clearly a mistake from the business side and we take full responsibility for it.
In saying this, at Videoslots, we have a zero-tolerance policy in this respect and would never compromise under any circumstances. Customer satisfaction is something that we take very seriously and although sometimes unavoidable mistakes happen, we always find a satisfactory solution.
In our commitment to serve you better and retain you as one of our valuable customers, we have conducted several interactions and investigations. We were now able to contact all our affected customers and proceed with the relative refund where appropriate.

We always aim to address any unintentional inconvenience in the best way possible, and we hope you find this action satisfactory and up to your expectations.

Thank you once again for your understanding in this unfortunate matter.

So my question is, does anyone know what the issue was with the RTP? it is very intriguing to say the least!

Also why did they wait until last night to remove it from their casino? if they was aware of a problem a while ago? shouldn't they have removed it as soon as they triggered an investigation?

I am also unsure no one else has pointed this out in a new thread too already?

Anyway any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Possible but not sure. And shame on those casinos that do not follow suit with videoslots and issue refunds as well. So well done to videoslots for actually taking the first step.

Not heard much else on this, but it would most certainly have effected several casinos that were providing this game.

Just phoned the casino, he told me direct up there has been a problem with the slot and it was removed everywhere, but right now they are waiting information back from IGT to whats gonna happen and they are gonna pay back customers after what IGT finds out in there research if its been cheating players.

But right know he dident know anything at all.

Ok I see, well it seems Videoslots have again been on top form and actually already paid players back.

So just shows again that videoslots is the best casino lol :)

At Betfred, we constantly monitor the RTP of our games to ensure fairness and expected behaviour. Accordingly, one such recent review identified an issue with the game Golden Jungle which negatively impacted the RTP and, as your account has been identified for a refund directly related to this issue, we have credited 0.62 in the currency of your account to your account today.

Please accept our apologies for the disruption to your experience and for the delay in crediting your account. Should you have any queries or wish to discuss further please contact Customer Services on 0800 028 7747 or via email on support@betfred.com.

Yours sincerely

Trancemonkey must've designed it.....:D:D:D

Very unusual for IGT to have these sort of issues, and it's odd as I can't find it amongst the Slotscomparer database games either, which is unusual for any slot. Is it an exclusive or bespoke game just for VS?

Rare for Dunover, the all-seeing eye of slots, to be baffled..............:eek2:

Ah yes, I remember now getting a link to add it back in December but it wouldn't work. It has a cumulative feature like SMM for a Wild spin so therefore the issue (presumably) lies in the fact that these type of features are supposed to pay to the average stake that triggered them like say TR2 does too. If it was found NOT to be doing this then yes it could swizz the player. That's my best offer at a reason.

It was at a few casinos including Vera John Videoslots and I think even Rizk had it. It barely had much coverage I only recall seeing one big win video courtesy of Wild Reels. Other than that I saw no other big wins on it. There was always something strange about it!

If you changed stake, it was supposed to store the progression to wilds for that stake... My guess is something may have gone wrong here and maybe it was just clearing the wilds down - which would not have been picked up in automated or GLI testing as they wouldn't change stake in autoruns... Even though i work for IGT, i don't actually know - i'm having an educated guess. I'm trying to find out and if i can say why, i will...

Sadly not ;) But the original retail one was done in the Graz studio by a good friend of mine... we don't have anything to do with the online ports though....

My first retail game will be at Vegas G2E this year...
