I would like to play with just my money....

I think so. Just deposit your money and start playing. They usually offer coupon codes that you need to apply to claim any bonuses.

Not good advice. Many casinos just put the deposit bonus in automatically.
What you should do is phone/email and ask to have any bonus removed before starting play.

Yes RJ, you're absolutely right. It takes nothing at all to make that phone call and do not start to play until after the bonus has been removed.

However, in Real Time Gaming (RTG) casinos, a player does have to redeem a coupon before making a deposit to claim a bonus.

I think that may be what Nidya meant.

However, and in agreement with the others, there are casinos that will simply credit the bonus unless you notify them otherwise. Email, phone, Live Chat ... all should work without too much trouble.

Some RTG casinos do put you on an auto coupon list meaning that a bonus coupon is automatically entered when you deposit. If you do not want to claim any bonuses from a casino that you will be depositing to just email their support and ask them to remove any auto bonuses before you make a deposit. Ask for an email confirmation and keep it as a record.

Answering from the casino side at an RTG casino. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact support before you start playing. That will help settle most headaches. A number of players will come in and play cash only /no bonus which is great. No max bonus faster payout, no playthrough, but than they lose, and contact casino and than want a bonus. After that time even if a player plays without a bonus, we still consider him as a bonus player, and hold them to wagering requirements. As you can see it can be complicated, much easier to contact the casino first.

Only not-so-smart people would deposit without accepting bonuses on a regular basis. Let's say you expect to lose...of course you do! for entertainment. BUT you also would hope to win...otherwise, you would play with fun money!

The casino could do the following:
-They cheat you with rigged software
-They got rip off exchange rates
-They don't pay you!
-They make you send in documents
-They make you run around whenever you have problems
-They take your credit card number and go to Hawaii
-They spam you to hell

A bonus is just like an insurance making sure you are compensated for the risks involved in playing online.
I am sorry...but only stupid people don't get it.

not all stupid

I for one, don't play with bonuses and it saves me alot of headaches. I am not a high roller and was tired of never meeting wagering requirements. I am no good at blackjack, play VP half-heartedly so usually play slots, which I happen to love.

Am I stupid when I can cash in without having to see whether or not I have met a 16x or 8x playthrough requirement? I think not. And I have never had trouble with "documents"....I deposit via neteller and simply cashin. In some cases, it only takes 8 hours and it is back into my account. The most I ever waited was 48 hours and that was a new playtech site(megasport casino). Perimutual gold cashes it in instantly to neteller.

I have recently found a MG site that has a great comp program and those points add up very quickly!

I always contact live support first notifying them that I do not want any welcome bonus or bonuses at all. It has never been a problem, they never try to persuade me to take them, and usually they just tell me to log out for a while (few minutes) first so they can remove the bonus. RTG is not a problem because one uses a coupon code for that one.

So all in all, I don't consider myself "stupid" when I've encountered no problems.....and I surely have seen time and time again on here where folks complain because why???? "the casino won't pay me because they said I didn't meet wagering requirements"....or better yet......."they changed their wagering requirements once I deposited".....or even still...."the email they sent me had one set of rules for WR and then their T&C page stated something else so they won't give me my money"....

so am I really stupid????? I don't consider blackjack stupid at all....and time and time again what is his/her response to all those complaints we see on here?.........."and I am a scared little mouse for not taking bonuses?"

I the 'stupid one', think not Blackjack!

snuf419, if you a good player it best not to take a bonus, let say i depoist 1000 and then they give me a 250 bonus at 20 play thru. in the first hour i would make 200 to 400 bucks and i cant even cash out. 1000 no bonus most casino can cash out soon as i am up. Now a few casinos even with out bonus want you to play thru at least once and that the casino i dont play at, unless my goal is to double money.

i will take all the free depoist money and try and come up :D

I play both with and without deposit bonuses - depends on what my objective is.

If it is to double my money, no bonus.

If it is to have fun and turn $20 into $1000... definitely take the bonus.

I don't like bonuses. I want to play, not try to meet wagering requirements. I want to withdraw any damn time I please. I want to play exactly the games I feel like playing.

Maybe if I was a pure slot player I would accept bonuses - but maybe not then either. If I hit a jackpot or a big win I want to cash out right there and then.

I want instant gratification, and the bonus isn't worth the trouble to me.

This from a former bonus hunter. But in my day, wr was nothing to even worry about.

90% of my deposits are not bonus related neither
i am just saying, deliberately asking the casinos NOT to give you any bonuses (even sign up ones) means you are giving up the tiny edge that the casinos offer you. You can always play with your money but bonuses are not always available.
And whether you can cash in whenever you want or not has nothing to do with statistics...you are destined to go home poorer everytime you walk in without bonuses. But of course I can see some of you are fine with that.

well, sorry if i sounded offensive

Me no stupid.

With the casinomeister bug hidden in all the casino softwares, you don't need no bonuses. Just take a look at all your winner screenshots!

You should actually NEVER take those 5 or 10% neteller bonuses that many places give automatically, since they lock you into a 10x D&B wagering requirement. That's a huge requirement for such a small return.

the worst bonus I would ever take is 20% offered by Fortune Lounge.
those 10% by Havana club always goes to recycle bin
