Here is a screenshot from earlier today, I was playing roulette and after 10 losses, I had to bet 512, which I won and took home a 1,024 win

Please don't post URLs of your website boasting of your wins. Especially when it contains info on roulette systems. Thanks!

Think of it this way, would you like it if I was posting my URLs on your blog boasting of my exploits? I don't think so.

Actually you won just one first bet (initial stake), and assuming you lost 10 times before this - you actually won $1
Oh God, I can't believe there is still someone who thinks Martingale is profitable! :D

It's a bizarre screenshot anyway - probably faked. It says the max bet is €37.50 to start with so how could he have bet €512?
Also, that stack of chips on the side of the table are presumably the winnings - looks like only €34 there to me... :eek2:

Yes, this is the first thing I thought to myself when I saw the screenshot as well :D

Probably a poor ploy to try to gain some traffic from people seeing his "amazing" win via his now non-existent link.

hi it could well be 37.50 on a single number guys meaning out bets could well be 1000 euros etc etc )

I was thinking the same. you can actually bet on any number 37.50 each.
So betting the max amount on every black number gives you 18X37.50=675 bet,
also Not forgetting the 37.50 on black, will give total bet of 712.50.
In this case any hit on black number would give a win of 1350.

However i have no opinion about whether the screenshot is real or not.

Lol, certainly a fake

I've played roulette many times and yes, there is a maximum bet to see of 37,50!!:)

I've seen many adverts about roulette systems with fantastic links to casino's...With maximum 'bets'! I am not that experienced with scams (yet), but it wouldn't surprise me if the casino's themselves advertise in order to get people to place bets-until they lose...(Of course they have affiliates :)..)
And 'why' is the screen shot showing euros? I just went to the casino.com website which is visible on the top of the screen...but even when I changed the laguae it still showed US$...Can anyone explain that to me?

I apologize for the link

I apologize for the link on this post, I'm new here and it won't happen again.

As far as the screenshot, it is real, the 37.50 max is probably per number, the max on betting on a color, or odds and even is 1000. As for the picture of the stack of chips, I don't really have an explanation as to why the stack looks the way it does.

Gamblers Den - While, obviously, I was trying to bring traffic to my blog I wouldn't do it with a fake screenshot. I'm not an affiliate and have no advertising on my blog, so there is really no incentive for me to trick people into coming to my blog, I keep it up because it's interesting to me and I think other people might enjoy it.

Slot Monster- I know that that system is a flawed system, and as you pointed out, in the grand scheme of things I came away with a buck, but had I lost that bet, I would have been out 512, so I felt like I won 1024. I had never played that much on a single spin and I thought it was cool.

Chiron - It shows Euros because that's what I play with, if you play in $ then it would show it as $.

I went back and checked exactly what the Max bet is for this game, and its 750 Euros.

I hate risky progression betting especially the one you just about survived by the skin of your teeth.

Say for example you had lost that last spin! You wouldn't be able to recover your losses by continuing on with your 'double up' bet as the table maximum limit wouldn't allow you to bet $1024.

And your bankroll would have been eaten up leaving you with nothing to bet again with anyway considering you would need to bet another grand on the 12th spin and theoretically if you had a no-limit table maximum, if that lost you would need to bet 2 grand on the 13th spin etc.

Your total wager to reach the point in the game that you won at.

0.50 + $1 + $2 + $4 + $8 + $16 + $32 + $64 + $128 + $256 + $512 = $1023.50

Congratulations! You managed to recover your losses and won fifty cents.

Risking a $1024 to do it and if that last bet lost, you would have gifted a cool 10 big ones to the casino without the chance to recover your losses.

Lucky for you that streak of losing reds ended with a winning black on the 11th spin as streaks often go up to 12 of the same color and even 20 the same with a zero thrown in on the end for good measure. Though if you like high risk betting that's your call as long as you understand the risk.

Another point is if a player was playing at this casino with a bonus, then they would have lost all their winnings as they don't allow roulette to be played with the bonus. Also if you were playing in the casino.coms casino royale tournament promo you would have lost your winnings as the terms dictate no low risk betting on red or black colors.

I've seen a few dodgy websites/casino portals over the years promoting the martingale system or similar with the misleading 'you can't lose with this betting system 100% success mathematically proven' followed by 'download now e.g. Marty-is-the-way-to-win-Casino.com and get a huge bonus' knowing full well the bonus wont count towards roulette.
