So I know this is my own stupid fault, but a couple days ago I deposited $10 in iNetBet - big spender, right? Surprisingly I actually was winning, I clawed my way up to about $170 and was feeling pretty good....left it and logged out. Logged back in later and started to play, when suddenly a little popup appeared that said congratulations you won $8 in a tourney and it's been deposited into your account. Which is cool, EXCEPT that tourney winnings at iNetBet have a playthrough and max cashout.

So I thought, there goes my winnings, and decided to just blow it. Wouldn't you know it, I started winning here and there - at one point I had $1000, which would have really come in handy since I just quit my job. I should have stopped and wrote an email and waited for them to respond, but a) because it was the weekend I probably wouldn't get a response right away and b) in my head it was like because of this stupid max cashout bonus being added it was just play money. So I played it down and finally got it down to like $200 and made a cashout last night. Then today I realized that since the max cashout on that stupid tourney win was only like $80 I reversed the $200 and lost that too.

Now I'm sad, especially because probably I would have been able to cash out some of that $1000 if I could have talked to someone there. I know it's my own fault for losing it, but I wish they would not add bonus money when you're playing without a bonus.

Cindy,

Been there and done that. Makes you want to kick yourself in the behind. But, nothing you can do about it now. Spilt milk and all.

I am sending you a hug. Now put your big girl panties on and don't do it again. :D

I've been there SO many times...

You just gotta forgive yourself.

It's only money. You'll win again sometime. Just try to cashout that next time.

Good luck!

Hey Chayton I'm confused  ..... Would the max cashout still apply? I mean since you already had money in your account and they pretty much forced the $ 8.00 on you. Shouldn't they waive the max rule on the tourney win?

Other than that yea it sucks but I'm sure with time you will win it back. I can feel it :D

I'm sorry to say this Cindy, but you could have cashed out that money.
Think about it how ridiculous it is, you were playing on a straight bonusfree deposit and won.
And because you won a measily 8 bucks in a tourney you lose your winnings??

They could never, ever get away with that. And to be honest, Inetbet are strickt when it comes to rules, but they would have paid you, I'm almost 100% sure about that.

If everyone who plays tourneys get their winnings confiscated when a tourneywin is added to the balance Max would get more PABS than he can handle and Inet would lose their accredited status in a split second.

I agree 100% ... As a veteran Cindy you panic. If your balance was above $8 before they added the tourney win; And didn't drop below $8 after the money was placed in your balance. There is nothing they could do. Unless they play the percentage game. And say that $8 made up a certain percentage of your total balance. And subtract that certain percentage afterwards. But for the most part. You were good to go. Live Chat is something Inetbet needs to work on getting. People have been complaining. Until the players start voting with there wallets. Inetbet will continue to be stubborn. In numbers there's strength.

Casinos should not be adding bonuses whilst a person in the midst of playing, its just plan wrong and looks like a "haha got you" moment.

Also being accredited here, I do not think they would have been allowed to confiscate your winnings, if they did it would have been plain rogue. They also would not be able to restrict what you won after the bonus was added as you would still be playing with YOUR money unless and until you dropped to the $8 or below.

I'm sorry to say this Cindy, but you could have cashed out that money.

Exactly, if they confiscated any winnings I think Chayton would have had a good case. I am surprised this has not come up before, if people are getting these bonuses added whilst already playing, unless Inet is paying those who were already playing, before receiving these winnings and just remove the bonus.

I know, I'm sure I would have been ok if I had cashed out. I doubt that iNetBet would mess me up on purpose - it was just when that message popped up I got in this weird mindset that I was already screwed. Like at first I thought that unless my balance dropped to $8 I wasn't even playing with the bonus funds....but then I thought but what if the bonus gets played first? So that anything I won in that first little while were actually bonus funds and would be removed from my cashout anyhow?

Anyhow...if it hadn't been the weekend I would have sent a message to James on FB to find out whether that tourney win would affect my cashout or whatever.....but oh well, easy come easy go. At least I got some decent playtime on my ten-spot for a change, so I did have some fun at least. ;) Now time to move on. Now where did I put my big girl panties...? (lol Anniemac)

So that was the reason for the cryptic sad message I got

You do have my sympathy:)

It's more to this though than the missing livechat at Inetbet.
Doesn't James ever work at weekends? Shouldn't someone else take his place when he can't reply for days?
Also the fact that Inetbet stopped paying to Skrill on weekends was a big factor I suppose.
Did they ever tell you why?
I think I will go ask them to reply to these questions.

A bonus added while you were playing that had a max cashout, even though that max cashout was actually less than the withdrawable balance you had, or were nearly at, when the bonus was added? If this was done intentionally, i.e. timed to affect the existing good balance you had, then that is rogue without a doubt. The reason I say that, is that your session was operating under Terms&Conditions 'A' then those terms were effectively changed to T&C's 'B' in mid-play without your consent. iNetbet aren't rogue, so common-sense decrees that this $8 should have been 'ringfenced' in your account to be activated later when either you had bust out (which you wouldn't have) or made a withdrawal and emptied the account.

Now unfortunately I have to agree that as soon as this appeared (it's hard I know when in the middle of an enjoyable profitable session!) you should have suspended play and asked them to ringfence it or remove it altogether, as being accredited they would have to. As you say you lost confidence in your balance and played it to bust, and in retrospect shouldn't have and I see you are now aware with a little more discipline you could have made a substantial w/d.:(

The above paragraph is also, in sympathy with you, a negative effect of having no live chat CS. In 2 minutes you could have put this right and carried on the nice session you were having, confident you could withdraw at any time. Unfortunately with the knowledge at the back of your mind that this matter wouldn't be resolved for hours/a day or two via e-mail, and not wanting to stop playing, you carried on probably with a negative feeling in your stomach as the balance moved inexorably down and you being aware that you were on a 'dead' session.

So, I personally feel that this is a 50-50 matter. The casino has dumped you in it, their bad whether intentional or not and you didn't have the willpower to suspend play in order to resolve it. Where was live CS when you needed it?

I hope this experience doesn't hang over you for very long, and the next makes you a tidy profit!

Hi All,
Chayton - you really should have emailed us if you had any queries.

Yes you are correct in that tourney wins have a max cash out if they are from a Free-Roll.

However if such a tourney win was added when you were playing on your own funds then we would not have restricted winnings on your own deposit. That simply is not right.

We would have been able to see your balance when the tourney win was added and seen that you had not used these to accrue the winnings.
If you had lost your deposited funds and were then playing just on tourney funds then a max would have applied should you have decided to cash out.

In future if you, or any other players, have a query please be sure to contact us.

Best Regards

Indeed, as I expected. Fair enough.
I still think though that Chayton wasn't expected to know this for sure, and didn't have access to a quick resolution at the time she was playing. If you have limited time to play a session, and then in the middle of it come up against something like this a lengthy exchange of e-mails over a day or two can be quite off-putting to the player.

Thanks iNet...in hindsight I should have known it would have been ok, but of course hindsight doesn't help - maybe a time machine...? :p

There's a reason I don't take deposit bonuses, I don't like feeling like my own money is tied to any kind of restrictions or conditions. When suddenly a bonus gets plopped in there unexpectedly I just short circuit and lose my common sense I guess.

Also....this happened to me before years ago - I thought it was CWC but the more I think about it I think it was iNetBet too. I got a small bonus while I was playing (manager bonus?) and even though I wasn't too far ahead, I just went and found a losing game so I could lose the lot and start over.

This time I wasn't trying to lose really - just was playing it like play money. Anyhow it was a good run, I actually cashed in $10 in comps and that was mostly from this weekend. And no, I didn't win anything with it. :p

Sorry to hear about the bad experience Chayton. :( you have my sympathy.

All online casinos should have 24/7 Live Chat to help the customers better!

Email support often takes hours or even days to reply.
Phone support ive never tried.

I wish they would not add bonus money when you're playing without a bonus.

Maybe a clause added to the inetbet T&C's would stop players thinking they are now engaged to a $80 max-cashout.

I don't know why Inetbet just don't add live support and table bonuses with fair wagering. They would be the best RTG casino in town. By doing this, This would make a lot of other groups rethink their positions.
