I love RTG slots. What about you?

I feel that RTG is the best, just simply because it feels like your playing in a real casino. For example: you can see the reels scroll down when you spin most software providers don't have that. Usually all you can see is a blur. to me that just feels awful.
The graphics are also great.
Sometimes the bonus rounds can just blow your mind. But this can go either way. for example: you can have the bonus round from hell where you only just scrape 10X your original bet or you hit nirvana, then you will be looking at 100 + x bet.
The thing that i like the most is its so easy to tell when the slots are playing tight. For me RTG's are so streaky. If for example you lay down 100$ and you don't hit a single thing your best off going to bed and suck your thumb. however what i have experienced if you hit the bonus round within the first few spins after deposit, then 7 out 10 times its good to go. In that i mean go through the list of slots until you reach the bonus rounds on each.
I have earned literally thousands playing this way.
Was just wondering what your experience has been playing RTG's
P.S i work for rtg software development research plum picking society based in Leeds of England right next to Scotland!!!! well not very far away anyway.
but on a serious note what are your expriences?

lee, I joined the "I love RTG" club years ago, There aren't a lot of members here who like RTG so don't be bummed if you don't get a lot of replies:D

.....................you have excellent taste in online casinos ............. ..IMO:thumbsup:

I also really like the RTG software platform and in the past I was able to win regularly on the RTG casinos that I played at but this year has been a totally different story for the amount of wagers that I have placed verses wins at these RTG casino sites.

I pretty much agree with everything you said LeeBumble and I think the RTG slots are amongst the best in the business.
However what puts me off is the "streakyness"
It is great when RTG decide to give you a holiday but you know you will have to pay dearly for it in comming deposits.
I find that very irritating.

You see and I did not even say one word about...

This maybe off subject, but does anyone know if RTG LEASES the platform to the casinos or are they compensated by receiving a %age of the profits from the casinos or both?
The 3 casinos I play all use the RTG platform and i think they are honest but....I have my suspicions about the software itself specifically at video poker.
I dont play slots a lot so I have no comment here , but play blackjack and start with $5 you might win 5 in a row, try increasing your bet size and you are doomed:-((. I have a million other war stories but no use crying over it One can always stop

Maybe Emily or one of the other RTG reps will come and answer your question. That's something I would like to know as well.

I usually play slots and VP equally, playing $1/spin on slots to start and increasing to $2 if it's hitting. Lately, if I find a slot that's hot, it will retrigger 3 or 4 times, that's when I start upping my bets until the slot dies. I consider it dead when I hit nothing after 5 spins. Then I move over to VP until that plays out, then back to slots........................Jackpot Pinatas is the only slot that requires a $5 bet/roll, so I don't play that one much.

As far as blackjack, well forgetaboutit! Always suck at that game. :D

Just to jump in real quick - the RTG page was just updated over the weekend (thanks Cooky!)

For your perusal:

And RTG receives a % of profits made - that's my understanding. And this is true with most software providers - there are licensing fees and this is one of them.

Just checked it out but I noticed you still have not gotten "Jackpot Kings" listed ?? I believe this is the outfit that changed their name awhile back to "Jackpot Capital"...What's your feeling on this outfit ??

I agree with you about the 'scrolling reels' - the 'cut in' of the finishing position is much earlier than MG, so you do get a good idea if you're going to hit the bonus symbol or not on reel 5 well in advance. Whether that is a good or a bag thing is a matter of opinion though!

Overall I don't like their (Real Series) slots very much; these are my very personal reasons why:-

* For me most spin too slowly.

* They pretty much all have the same sound effects... boring!

* Not enough different coin sizes available - MG are definitely way ahead here!

* They all seem to have roughly the same chance of hitting bonus rounds (1 in 120 to 140 spins...?) - I prefer to have some which hit more often, even if the return is (obviously) less.

* The autoplay is very annoying - when you hit the feature the spin counter disappears, so you don't know how many spins it took (unless you watch it like a Hawk the whole time - which defeats the whole object of autoplay for me :().

* The free-spins start automatically (after a few seconds) - I prefer slots to sit & wait for me to click 'Start free-spins'.

There's probably more things I can't think of right now - I'll be back! :p

Hi KK! How's Zoe?

Had a couple thoughts when I read your post and wanted to share :D

You can click a box in the control/autoplay section of the games to stop auto spins when the feature triggers.

The sound effects in the latest sets of new slots (Phantom of the Opera, Sherlock Holmes, Bunko Bonanza, Rapunzel, King Tut's Treasure, Crazy Vegas, Golden Retriever, Medal Tally, Pinocchio, Warlock's Spell) are so much improved over the Cleopatra's Gold days! Sherlock is kind of annoying but when he hits, the added free spins make up for it IMO.

Medal Tally, when it features, is very cool! Yesterday it featured for me and retriggered 4 times! I won an additional 16 medals (worth 20 bucks) (Michael Phelps........eat your heart out :p:D

Zoe is doing fine & still the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life - thanks for asking! :notworthy

Yes, I know the autoplay stops when the feature hits, my point was the number of spins it took to get there is no longer displayed (on most of their slots), which is a real PIA for me!

;)

I love to play achilles, and the few times I have gotten 100 spins on raindance have been most enjoyable. ( except when I won $500 on an inet managers bonus and had a $50 max cashout)

I have played the newer ones a few times but I always go back to the older ones.

Thanks - checking into them, there isn't much to go on. I don't think they are related to any other casino group, and they have a relatively low profile. I've never met them (as far as I know). I'd proceed with caution.

Heya,

Have put in a development note requesting this amendment in the not-too-distant future.
I also like to leave things on Autoplay and then come back...and have been annoyed in the past not knowing for certain how many spins went by between features.

Woooof
