I can't believe I fell for RTG tactics.

As some of you know, I won the 65k off the progressive. I left some money in there to play with.

Well now I know, the table games where the casinos have to pay, are near impossible to win with big bets. They have no problem paying progressives, but make table games hard to hit.

I should have learned my lesson on not betting big on their table games. Near impossible to win with big bets. I would bet $25-$75 no problem and actually come ahead.

So I decided to try max betting. Five $250 bets in a row with pontoon, the dealer either beat me with a dealt 18-20, or tied me to lose.. On the sixth hand of max betting, I was dealt 11 and dealer had a 6. I doubled down and got 21. What do you know, the dealer ended up getting 21, so I lost, because in pontoon you lose to ties.

Same story with face up 21. So many freaking ties with max bet that I lost.

So screw it, I do my last $1,000 bet for the night for two dealt hands in regular blackjack for $500 each.

In the end, I have a 17 and a 20, dealer 4. Do I even need to say what the dealer got

I can honestly say after that run, I am just thankful I got most of my jackpot money and am never looking back at an online casino again.

RTG is just a joke now.

Trying to get a hand history to show you guys how crazy it was with high betting RTG casinos.

I must say, I have won max betting, but I am not over exaggerating when I say probably only 10% of the time.

Do I feel stupid for falling for the RTG tightness? Of course.

On the bright side, I can be thankful I cashed out 70% of the jackpot winnings and paid off all my debt with good amount of money left over.

Time to look back and enjoy what I did have with online casinos, mainly more than two years ago when it was a better time for online gaming.

So good luck to all who still play. It's been a fun ride for me, but I am now glad that I finally decided to stop online casinos. I'll take the jackpot cash I got and give RTG, Rival, a good wave goodbye.

I would rather lose my money to live casino than a lose with big bets all the time at a RTG casino.

I really don't mean for this to get into conspiracy theories on whether or not you lost big bets due to software manipulation, but its my opinion that they set it so people can win small bets, but big bets, 9/10 times you'll lose.

So again, I really don't want to debate that, just venting before I head out of the casino world.

Just for the sake of conspiracy theories, it is possible that when you hit the max bet button, you are getting dealt from a gaffed deck(s).

I'll tell you a little fun story of mine.

A few years ago, I was doing quite well on a $75 deposit I made at an RTG casino. Was doing very nice going back and forth between blackjack and slots (my usual plan of attack). Eventually I got my balance up a little over $10,000 thanks to a very nice hit on Ronin. I think I had like $10,400. So my plan was to make a few hail mary $100 bets on Cleopatras Gold and enjoy my 10 grand.

Well unfortunately I got a little caught up in the high rolling and a minute later I had dipped to like $9850. Crap!!! Ok, a few nice hands at blackjack and I will be ok.....

:lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup:

After losing about 8 hands in a row I said screw it and kept my bet at $250 and figured it was my time again.

About 10 minutes later I was staring at a big fat zero balance. No joke.

I didn't sleep well that night.

Don't trust high stakes RTG blackjack.

they are SMART

Wow, the RTG software fixers are geniuses. They knew you were so compulsive that they would let you get to 10k from $75 only to completely punish you by cheating you on the max bet BJ hands and taking advantage of your compulsion.

I only hope they cheat me in a similar manner because if so, I may just screw up their plans by cashing out a measly 7-8k on a small deposit. In fact, next time I get to 10k on a small deposit I may play max bet BJ if it is allowed just to let them win some back.

I think pretty soon we will be seeing RTG T&Cs that say "slots or max bet BJ only." Maybe they will add in a few other max bet games if they really want to screw the players :) :)

OMG...ouch!!! lol, I have to say you made me feel better for playing back my $200 in winnings, thanks! ;)

Don't trust high stakes RTG blackjack.

Have had similar experiences but with only 1k or max 2k withdrawals... :D
Although I'm still willing to believe it's only too few hands and too high bets in my case so the variance kicks ass...

Tycoon, I'm not a table game player, but I did win over $40k last year on random jackpots. Guess how I'm doing this year. 102 deposits and cannot get ahead or meet playthrough on bonuses. I'm suspicious that the $40k put me way over the RTP that the casino system normally pays, hence my results this year. I decided to stop chasing it. You might be in the same boat and might be best off avoiding RTG casinos, just in case there is a universal RTP applied to you across all RTG casinos. The best way for the casinos to make sure I never deposit again is to openly admit this, which I do not expect them to do. Therefore I must rely on my own intutions.

*This is not stated as fact, but just as a suspicion.

My 2 cents on max betting.

I play blackjack almost exclusively at a very small selection of casinos. In my experience over about 8 years I have noticed that if you only play at reputable casinos the chances of losing on max betting is about the same as any other bet, the only thing is that we seem to notice losing more as the bets get bigger.

I know I am my own worse enemy when it comes to losing, and it is usually because I have strayed from my staking play and start chasing losses.

If you follow a staking plan stick to it no matter what.

I can name three or four casinos that when you do a max bet you always loose. But two casinos I can definitely say dont is Rushmore and 3dice. I dropped my balance from $1900 to $250 max betting roulette at rushmore, then kept at it and brough it back up to $4200. I cashed after that. Then yesterday I was max betting at 3dice roulette at $300 bets, started with $4000 dropped down to around $250, then brought it back up to $5100. I'm not sure about blackjack because when I max bet there I always seem to get fucked, but roulette with these two places has always been honest.

You won 65k at astronomical odds, then moan about losing a few hands of pontoon at a frankly stupid bet size?

Can't seem to locate my sympathy cache right now.
