I have problem because our government forbid us to play online casinos from territory of Croatia, and have set big fines (1.500€ - 7.000€). It's a new low!

I don’t know if tax office is checking our IP address activity, or what?!
I am thinking to go to Slovenia or Hungary and play from there or somewhere.

Does anyone have good advice and legal solution?
Thanks in advance!

Even if you go to a neighboring Country to play you may still have a problem if your account shows Croatia as your home Country. Probably not a good idea to fake anything to the casino either as they will likely use it against you at the worst possible time. Unless you actually move somewhere else you might not find a good solution to your current situation.

same in romania just that is not completely restricted but to play anywhere off whitelist they wanna fine us. i'm pretty sure they will start to hunt us at one point. the only solution is to play where you are not (yet) restricted using your card to fill skrill, deposit where you want and then withdraw with skrill card. i don't think a third party (skrill, neteller) would give infos about how we use the service so they will go after bank cards. just a guess, who knows what those money grabbers are planning

I see even US players encounter many problems, but they are a large enough market certain casinos will circumnaivate laws to accommodate them. But they are a large market, and Croatia is not. And they do not risk fines like that... but then do encounter problems with being paid. Even reputable casinos servicing them have payment delays, accounts closed, bounced cheques because the US government found and closed an account, etc. etc.

I have no advice how to avoid detection by your government. Pretty much every casino forbids use of VPN.

I have read the terms at many many casinos over the years. Many, but not all prohibit play from Croatia.

If you have been playing at a casino that accepts them, and have an established account, I would approach them about using a VPN. If they permit it for you, even against terms, make sure you do it in writing, and save the emails.

Often, to service difficult markets, the shadiest of operators move in, because you have no one to complain to.

If this happened to me, I think I would save that $20 a week I would play and go once a year on holiday and gamble land based where it is legal.

Long term, we don't make money gambling online. If you are realistic and some discipline and some shopping around for the better deals, we lose a little less. And have fun and highs and lows in the process.

Canada is a grey market, our government has not made it illegal, I'm not subject to fines (yet). But one province has blocked online gambling, so you can only play at the government run site. I have encountered some but not all casinos unable to pay back to my credit card. Skrill is no longer takes gambling transactions for Canadians, and now I use Ecopayz, but fees are much higher to actually receive your money. There are none to keep gambling it, which sometimes is what I want. I like playing.
.
If you are a skilled poker player, that's different. There are poker forums where you might better ask. But you are already playing if that is the case.

It is also important to know not only if you can deposit and play, but if you can withdraw, and how. They cannot pay by bank wire without your government being able to see.

If your government makes that tough for you, it will be tough.

I'd give some real thought to saving up and gambling on a trip less frequently.

It's how I used to roll before I was gambling online. I've lost less online, but the food is not as good.
