7PM, kinda grumpy, bad mood and all
drinking..almost falling asleep..
all of a sudden a call from the boss
"database crisis, do something"
So long story short, I had to wait 1.5 hour for transaction to rollback to be able to do something. Meanwhile, getting every second emails about some failures
Tried wildest idea for once, adding another log file in the process...and oops. it worked!!!
I know most of the people will not even have a clue what I am talking about, but my boss told he will store a bottle of scotch for the next time something like this happen lol
