hey guys,

i just would like to know how your gambling habits are?

1. How often do you play a week? / How many deposits?
2. On what point do you cash out?
3. How strong do you behave when you reached the limit you gave yourself? Is it easy for you to stay strong?

i'm just curious how you guys manage it :) i totally have it under control moneywise, still sometimes i could have win more if i would stricly stopped when i reached my self-defined limits, but espcially if i win i tend to deposit more and more again :)

most of the time if i don't win really huge i end up using all my wins for gambling again... and i'm still looking for advice how to optimize my habits :)

cheers

1: I play everyday. Deposits vary but maybe average 1 a week. Always with a bonus unless playing video poker.

2: Always cash out as soon as my bonus playthrough is finished and am up at least 100 dollars.

3: I am VERY disiplined gambler. Have never cancelled a withdrawl or took any of the money back to play with. I have a plan with every deposit and stick to it 100%. I can deposit and play whenever I want as I have no financial commitments. However if I am having a bad month I will stop for awhile and...GO TO VEGAS!!

1) Normally once a week, sometimes maybe up to 3 times varying on good of a week I've had bartending, normally I limit myself to at most a $50 deposit per round. Mainly because I don't want to bet large and end up hurting later on in the week.
Normally play with a bonus, unless if the bonuses are beating me up, then of course I'll play with a straight deposit.
2) When I've reached at least $500.00. Mainly because I want the $15.00 bank fee to be worth the cashing out.
3) Once I've reached my limit, I treat that as a second pay day. Why? Because obviously a $500.00 off of $50 is a pretty good profit. So I just wait patiently for the cashout process to work it's magic. The only time I get impatient is around the holidays. Mainly there always seems to be some sort of delay that causes cashouts to take an extra week or two.

1. Too often / Too many
2. Pfffffft.
3. I am weak. What I need is for a maniac to come through the door, slam me into some handcuffs and leave me chained to the radiator for a week. Then I might see this thing we call "cash out".

I now deposit regularly at only a few casinos; 32Red, Betsson group, RedBet.
I play at these casinos because they either pay out instantly (process), and/or they flush withdrawals so it keeps me honest ;)
I tend to withdraw when I'm winning comfortably, but I don't really set targets as such.

1. I play almost everyday - Deposits vary on whether I'm winning or losing. I could make up to 10 deposits or more in a day. It depends on each session. Sometimes I may not need to and I keep going on a deposit or two. Tiny deposits at RTG and Bigger ones at MG and Netent.

2. I cash out once I make wagering or go ahead a decent amount. Decent may be defined as how much money I have left in Neteller for my next session:p. If I had a BIG Hit and Neteller is sitting pretty, I usually try to hit the $1000 mark or higher. If not, 300 - 500 is good enough. It also depends if I'm going apeshit or low rolling. I am MORE disciplined when low rolling and cash out faster. When I start to up my bets, my expectations are bigger and thus targets are higher.

3. If I reach the limit - It depends on WHICH limit - If its my limit on how much I spend, I may just consider a deposit or two depending on how much I actually want to play. Limits in terms of withdrawals depends on how much I put in. If things are going sour then I tend to try and break even or come out just ahead to withdraw. If not a few hundred will do these days. I can't count how many times I have been ahead and tried to play another Slot for a few spins and ended up losing the lot. I always think to myself - $200 is better than NOTHING.

I used to play much bigger back in the day. The Irony is that I would always have huge balances but never cash out. Now ... I don't have very huge balances unless I'm lucky on DOA and I'm MORE disciplined to cash out BUT it just seems harder to get ahead.

I play on average every other day and have a simple philosophy.I only play slots if there is a bonus on offer and if i manage to acheive the wagering requirement and am showing a profit, then i cash out, even if that profit is tiny.I just find there is a great deal of satisfaction in making the wagering even if the actual monetary gain is only a few pounds.I also play blackjack and set a target of doubling my deposit, will usually deposit £50 and either cash out at £100 or lose the lot.
Never had a problem with being tempted to reverse but try to stick to places with no reverse time or only a few hours. Then i can play late at night,go to bed knowing that the following morning there is no opportunity to give it all back.

1. Everyday. I get bored so I like to play. Plus I don't smoke or have any other vice (except for maybe drinking on the weekends) so I'm able to put more money towards gaming. Otherwise I'd be dividing money between two vices which would leave less for gaming.

2. That depends allot on how the session has treated me and the amount of my original deposit. I've learnt to cash-out anything above $200 on RTG. I generally cash out anything over $300 on MG or Netent.

3. Very strong. There's just been to many times where I've tried to reach an even number (say $200) and I've lost the whole lot over $5. The times when I decide I'm going to keep playing I tend to increase the amount I'm betting.

Many of my answers are very similar to those already given by others:
1. Every day (pretty much). Deposits vary depending on if I have any available funds already in any accounts, but average about twice per week.
2. When I have a decent profit (more than 2x deposit) after a good run and feel my luck has run out. Or, if I'm playing a bonus, shortly after meeting the WR if I've made a profit. If not, will play on to get even or bust out.
3. Yes, easy to stay strong. I have never reversed a withdrawal, though I have occasionally stopped playing intending to cash-out later, then gone back & played on.

I withdraw instantly after I meet wagering. Taking bonuses even if not always beneficial to they player in terms of max profit, can be a very good way of keeping yourself in control.

If not playing with a bonus I'll be happy to double my deposit. I feel that reverse withdrawals are predatory therefore I don't do them as a matter of principle. If I really want to play I'll just deposit elsewhere. People are happy to reverse €200 and gamble, but would they be so inclined to make a fresh €200 deposit and gamble it away?
