There are quite a few variations of this First deposit bonus at MG casinos and you will have to check the T&C's for the specific promotion you mention.
You do not win cash as such on these promotions but bonus cash that goes into you Casino account once you make qualifying deposit.
The bonus will have wagering requirements attached, usually 30 times the bonus amount.
The amount of bonus you can win will also be capped.

Yeah they are quite hard work because you basically have to do the wagering twice; Once to earn the bonus, and then again to turn it into cash.

I still think they are good value for new players though, because some (if you're successful with part 1) can equate to very big welcome bonuses! Many of the ones I list on the free cash page of my site are 400% or more, one is 1000% & one even 2000%! Of course, if you don't succeed with the first part - it costs nothing.

I can't remember if I've ever done any successfully or not... I've definitely done some, but a long time ago. Unfortunately I already joined most places before they started these offers, so I'm illegible.

I've did a lot of them, and never achieved it yet. But I still keep trying, because I love spinning.

IMO you have a better chance with the Free $7, $10, etc bonuses.

Quite right. With the free $7, $10 (I presume you mean Rival) you only need to do the wagering once before you can cash out.

You right guys that Rival bonuses are much better .... I managed to make 140$ at "Mayan Fortune" and 120$ at "This is Vegas"

It is good for new players. At least better than no deposit $5 promotions.

I hope they' ll find more innonative ways about bonuses like this.
