Help Needed - Re: OLD(?) Brazilian currency

A friend of mine has some Brazilian currency, that's been out of circulation for quite awhile -

While they're not worth anything $ wise, we think they may be of value to a collector?

There's no years printed on the bills, but the presidents on these bills are:

Marques de Tamandare ...
Duque de Caxis ...
Baro do rio Branco ...
Getulio Vargas ...
Rui Barbosa ...
Princesa Isabel ...
Viela Lobos ...
Machado de Assis ...

Is there any way to tell the age from those? These bills are in mint condition. No wrinkles, no fading, nothing.

is a good starting point for determining the age of the banknotes. As Brazil suffered hyperinflation, there may have been a huge amount of those notes in circulation, which would reduce their value, but they might be valuable if they are in mint condition. There must be a catalogue somewhere which would tell you how much a dealer would sell these notes for, but you can only expect a fraction of that price if you sell them to the dealer.

And wow, the bottom note is from the 1942 circulation....nice...
