Okay if any of you have time please give me your open honest opinion .. Regaurdless if it's good or bad. Not urgent but I would like to hear some others opinoins.
A few months ago i posted a thread about a withdrawl I was having problems getting from platinum play. Eventually the withdrawl was processed and I was given a 100.00 bonus for my troubles. Since then because of the facts stated by the casino as to why the mix up happened, ( they were changing payment processors) I had played again and won 800.00 which also took a few extra days to recieve but only because they were requesting I.D. Although I did find it a bit iriatating that they sent me a almost 4000.00 check with nothing being asked for from me, that they would ask for it on a 800.00 withdrawl . But after carefully reading the wording in the terms and conditions it says they can ask you at any time. So even though theres been a few bumps in the road i felt no reason to feel I should never play there again. Actually I feel both times I played there I won something so why should I not play ther anymore. They never tried to not pay me it just took a extra week the first time and only a extra day or so the second time. Now in the past few hours I played strictly off a refer a friend bonus whom I had referred a after I recieved my first pay out, i refered them because Even if it took some extra time i figured at least I could say they made it right and they actually paid. Now I am in a debate with some one . He seems to think it was iresponsible for me to play somewhere where I had had previous issues. But this morning I won 7000.00 from them and as i stated above the first 2 times I played there i won. i also find the staff very helpful when i call in. And even though the first incedent pissed me off some . I feel anyone can make a mistake but it takes a mature person to try to correct it. And platinum Play made it right. So my question is . Is it like a normal practice or something to stay away from a casino your comfortable with just because of a few bumpy paths?

Personally, were i to refer a friend, I would make sure I told them the good bits and the bits I thought could be seen by some as troublesome so they know what to expect. Managing expectations is the cornerstone of business and extends to friendship too.

Everyone has different standards and ideas over what is good/bad. In Platinum Play's case, it is essentially a safe casino where you will get paid if you're playing fair, so I don't see it as a bad recommendation. But as I say, it's always best to point out the foibles if you feel they are relevant.

Cheers

Just a heads up mate.

It would be better if you could write in shorter sentences and use more paragraphs when you are posting.

I am sure a number of members will not bother reading all of your posts just because of the difficulty in following them.

Not criticising you MS, just trying to help you get more value from your posts.

I totally agree with you on that.

Why let people tell you where to play? If you like the place, you win and they pay, and you're happy, who's to tell you not to play there?

I don't think those are really "problems" that you had. Glitches happen and the casino not only made good on it, but gave you a bonus for your trouble too. That's not the sign of a casino looking to rip you off. Saying that what you had was a real problem is like saying that a casino took 29 hours to flush your payout instead of 24 and is therefore a bad casino.

While you might have mentioned what happened, i don't think you're irresponsible for playing there. In fact, after what you won, I might give them a shot too. lol

Wow, just realized that Platinum Play was part of Fortune Lounge. Duh me... but I just cashed in over $1500 in two of their other casinos over the last two days.

I've never had a problem with them, they're one of my favorite groups.

it seems to me that if a casino can earn your trust and loyalty even through some "minor" bumps, that casino must be making a strong effort to keep it's players happy. i think it says a lot about that casino if you continue to play there. it means they have, over time, shown themselves to be trustworthy and reliable. what's wrong with that?

in my case, i played at grandaces and won a jackpot, but the bonus i used had a "win limit." (clearly in t & c) so i had to forfeit $4000 of the $6000 that i won. But the casino acted professionally and made every effort to ease my disappointment (the manager personally made sure that i at least got my $2000 in winnings almost instantly.) The personal touch made all the difference.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending grandaces to anyone and that's after i had to forfeit $4000, lol. (hope they get rid of those kind of bonuses though :) )

my point is that a good casino is hard to find and sometimes the only way to tell good from bad is to see how a casino reacts in certain situations over time (that's why this site is so valuable).... or you could just stick to casinomeister's list, lol.

sounds to me like you found a good casino that you trust through your experiences with them....nothing wrong with that. :)

MSWILS411,

My initial response is that you are to be charged $50.00 for each piece of advice by the forum members. Remember the other thread about your friend and soooo we are gonna charge you. Just joking, mon ami.

IMO there is nothing such as normal practice to stay with or away from a casino that has caused you some problems. Some only stay with the ones they win at, some others stay with those they trust and many continue to visit those with excellent customer support. So it all depends on how you feel. However, it does seem to me that you are trying to get an excuse from your inner self to continue playing at Platinum Play. If so, go ahead. This casino should be alright although it aint the best.

One more thing. Mitch is right. You could try to write shorter sentences to facilitate reading of your posts. My eyes are very tired now. Gotta look at something green.
