Hi all,

.

She was nominated by her teachers, and was accepted after an interview process and references from other teachers, she had to prove she would be a good ambassador. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for her, but the Tuition and costs are high, so we have put together a website to help raise money.

If you have a business and would like to have a link on another site, we are selling link space. Each block (75x50) is $5.00, for each block you buy we will post your banner. For example: if you would like a 150x150 banner posted, donate $30.00 and we will put your banner and link on the site. We also have an updates page where we will put a link to your site in the update.

We have already gotten a donation, so you can see an example at Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

If you do not have a website but still want to donate, please do...we will post your name.

Once you have made the donation please forward us the email you receive from paypal (or a confirmation number) and your banner and link and we will have it posted within 2 days.

We have to fill all the squares to meet the tuition, we have all the details and updates on the web site.

Update

We had a meeting Feb 11th. this from Ana------
I went to the February meeting today. It was a lot of fun! Scott and I hung out Thats the friend I made last time. We played a ice-breaker game where we had to be in a group of 2 or 3 and we had to write one sentence that no one would know about us, then we got up in front of everyone and let them guess They got mine right the first guess My sentence was that I was overly obsessed with ducks and one of the guys got it. They were good! I enjoy going to the meeting and getting to know about the people who have the same interests that I do. I cant wait for the trip in June!!!

Trip Date anounced June 14th,2006. We have to have the funds raised by April 15th!!!

Thanks everyone!

Meeting update

An update from Ana.....
"Today I went to the March meeting for my trip. It was very exciting but it took forever to get there because it was in Anderson! But when we got there we had a speaker who was a minister in Ireland but he lived in many parts of the world. He told us about some weird foods that they ate over there like something about the intestines of sheep gross! He had the most amazing accent though, I loved it!
Some of the ambassadors did their presentations and I did mine on the Loch Ness Monster. Some people believe that it is just fish skimming on top of the water but some other people dedicate all their time to finding Nessie.
One girl did hers on King Henry the VI. He married six different women but only considered one his true wife because she gave birth to a son.
After the people did their presentations we went back inside the meeting room and did another ice-breaker activity. This time we had to make the tallest, free standing structure out of spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. Our group didnt do too well, but after we cleaned up me and 3 of the girls in my group did a competition to see how many marshmallows we could get in our mouth without getting sick. Even ambassadors need fun! I got about 40 in my mouth but a girl named Tori got 70 in hers. It was funny because she kept laughing but trying to keep the marshmallows in her mouth!"
Check out site for pictures of this...LOL Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

from Ana:
Today I had my last meeting before my Bon Voyage Picnic. It was really exciting, Some of the last people did their projects and we did another ice breaker activity where we had 5 people and all of us had to put both feet inside the bandana, we were the first group to finish because we sat down while the others were trying to stand up and do it. I cant wait till the trip, only a few more weeks!

Thanks everyone!!!!!
