Is there a great book or a faq of how to play online? I play live but I'm sure it's different online. I believe every card dealt in blackjack is random, so no counting, I'm also not sure if basic strategy is worthless online. I have heard play low bets and never hit a card that could bust you. ne thoughts appreciated. Do you guys just play for the fun of it, or is anyone making any money online?

Rule #1: Never bet what you can't afford to lose.

As far as blackjack goes, basic strategy can and does work in reputable online casinos. Card counting does not as most casinos will tell you that the deck is shuffled after every hand dealt. I've made a tidy profit playing bonus offers myself, though some here don't advocate bonuses for their own reasons.

Wizard of Odds also has something about playing the "never-bust" strategy and how it significantly raises the dealer's edge against the player.

Rule #2: See Rule #1.
