Hi. I'm a newb in every sense. New to this site, new to online gaming ... Well, actually, I did try online poker for a while a few years back, but with minimal success. I also played a lot of live blackjack back in the day.

Anyway, I'm thinking of dipping a toe once again and am here to try to learn from the experience of others before accidentally putting said toe into a bear trap. I expect that I'll be posting questions a lot more than answers.

Cheers

Welcome :) I suggest you pick one of the accredited casino's and start playing! No one can tell you which games you like, you're gonna have to find out for yourself. One thing i would suggest is reading all the terms carefully before you sign up, especially if you plan on playing with a bonus.

Welcome to the forums Weeman:)

Asking questions and searching the forums is a good way to start you off, then after you feel informed enough, you can try out pretty much all the accredited Casinos here..

Some of the newer ones provide services up to par with a few of the longer-standing top listed ones,
and some of the newer ones have a really wide range of slots from several providers.

I personally recommend 32red, 3Dice (longer-standing multiple award winners here) and Guts (new multi-provider platform,a and, very likely the winner of new best new Casino 2013), that's my absolute top 3 overall.

But start asking and searching and you will surely make up your own mind soon:)

Yes Weeman, how`s the form?

I would say, play at Paddy Power and Ladbrokes obviously, sole reason is the shops on every corner.
You can make deposits there and with customer card, which is super easy to get, get your moneys in the
shop. It`s 500 max a day at Paddy and more at Ladbrokes, just have to give them a call first to see how much
they have got spare in the till

But yeah, accredited casinos here are good stuff, so take your pick :)

Anyway, good luck and hope to see you around.

That seems like a good tip, Michael. Can I play at Paddy Power online but make my deposits / withdrawals at the local shop to avoid setting up a bank account link. (Right now I only have a Credit Union account, which doesn't seem able to do the usual direct debits, etc. But I still prefer them to the big banks, so would be happy to just deal with all in cash.)

Thanks

You just open your account either online or in the shop, and then in the shop they will give you PaddyPower card,
when you present your id and some household bill (never asked me for a bill, but they know me).

Anyway, they hand you the card at the tills, you call the number they give you, and they will link the card to your account.
Then just activate card online in your lobby and you`re set.
