Hello all — payments person, first post

[Cryptobanco]

Hi everyone,

I’m Mariia. I work in marketing at a crypto payments company, so most of my day is about how money moves between businesses, partners and banks.

I’ve been reading Casinomeister for a while, especially the payment and withdrawal threads. It’s one of the few places where people share how things actually work in practice, not how they look in the marketing.

Happy to help with questions about crypto transfers where I can. Glad to be here!

Welcome to Casinomeister. Your experience with Crypto Payments could well be very interesting!

[Wait!What?]

Does your company confiscate funds transferred from gambling sites?
Lots of players are dealing with the issue of their funds being held by wallet exchanges. They ask about the source of funds and when they get to know its from a gambling site they cease the fubds.

Thanks for the warm welcome, @Webzcas!

@Wait!What? good question. We work only with registered businesses after KYB, not with individual players or personal wallets, so player withdrawals don’t go through us. On the general issue: when an exchange holds funds, it’s usually not a “gambling = bad” rule but a source-of-funds check. The exchange’s compliance flags incoming money from a gambling site and asks for proof that it’s legitimate winnings. Players who keep their casino transaction history, withdrawal confirmations and account statements usually get funds released much faster. The ones who get stuck are often those who can’t show where the money came from.

@hubbadubbadingdong ha, I wish I had that kind of influence! We’re not connected to Videoslots, but I hope they sort out your bank details soon.
