Angry What Happened to Absolute Slots?
As you may have noticed Absolute Slots is currently not available. The reasons are the operators from Hungary (formerly of Windows Casino)decided they would steal the site and replicate it as SlotPower. These people are Rogues of the highest order and we recommend players play at a Reputable casino and NOT SlotPower.

If these Rogues were willing to steal all the players and affiliates from Absolute Slots they certainly are capable of anything. Rather then fix the problem and return the stolen databases and casino to Absolute Slots they have instead opted to send out a series of mindless emails stating "Everything is business as usual" this is rediculous and would be similar to you visiting your bank and robbers hung up a new sign outside that said "Bank Power" , herded all the staff and tellers into the vault and locked it then stood there at the teller stations and said "Everything is fine, give us your money"!!!!

A theft of this magnitude could not be pulled off in a landbased casino or bank, but unfortunately online its possible to get away with just about anything if you are a continent away from the victims.

Please do not support cyber theft. DO NOT PLAY at SlotPower and tell them we want Absolute Slots back NOW!!!!.

This was the email that I received on Tuesday about this issue:

Dear Affiliate,

AbsoluteSlots.com has been involved in a domain name dispute. The dispute could not be settled by the parties.

As a result of this AbsoluteSlots.com has officially changed its name to SlotPower.com.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU?
Your AbsoluteSlots.com affiliate account will function without interruption. No need to sign up again as an affiliate.
Your players will continue generating revenue for you.
Your affiliate payments will be made and sent as usual.
You will be getting new banners and a new link to the new site today and tomorrow.
We will add a 15% BONUS COMMISSION to your account for April and May!!
We apologise for any inconvenience.

Best regards,

Mark Winter
Interim Affiliate Director
xxxwww.SlotPower.com

PS: We will launch a special promotion to drive up sales from this week.

Yea, I noticed that the other day when I clicked on my old banner I had up but after I changed the banner out then the new banner takes you to the new site to sign up.

When you open the casino itself it still says "Absolute Slots" on the main page and then in the cashier window it says "Slot Power"

Is it just me, or do you have to register with that forum to view the threads?

When I click on any thread link it doesn't come up with a page that says you have to register in order to see the posts, like VBulletin normally does.

Here is the statement below that was made regarding all of this over at Andy's Forum (AGD) and it does appear that all of this had to do with EMG, AMI and CAP owning the domain name:

The management of SlotPower.com wishes to inform the casino affiliate community, that SlotPower.com has no business relationship with Casino Affiliate Programs, Effective Media, Card Spike, Warren Jolly or Louis Fabiano.

Benjamin@absoluteslots.biz is not involved with the affiliate matters of SlotPower.com. Continued libelous statements or the implication of non-payment to affiliates by the domain name owner of AbsoluteSlots.com will result in swift legal action.

SlotPower.com will honor all outstanding affiliate and player debt of AbsoluteSlots.com. All affiliates and players will be paid on time.

We are planning on adding additional casino brands, new marketing materials, attractive bonuses and the best overall gaming experience on the net.

To compensate for the work associated with the domain switch, we are increasing affiliate commission to current affiliates and will be offering new bonuses to those affiliates who start promoting SlotPower.com.

Please direct all enquiries to affiliate@slotpower.com

One more quote from the SlotPower Rep over at AGD:

We will be sending a cease and desist order to Louis Fabiano if these defamatory claims persist. They are entirely false and are damaging to our business. If the accusations continue we will take legal action.

For the record let it be known that all commissions and more have been paid to Louis Fabiano. We are still working to reach an agreement for the price of the domain AbsoluteSlots.com.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the disruption. We are doing our utmost to ensure a smooth transition to SlotPower.com and are keeping our affiliates informed every step of the way.

Ben has nothing to do with SlotPower.com. Please address all and any enquiries to affiliate@slotpower.com

Thank you.

<sigh> a continuation of the CAP face-plant saga?

Yep, that's exactly what it sounds like to me too. There are others that are now making the break from CAP as well. Just a few days ago Renee posted over at CAP that Casino Rewards/Rewards Affiliates were

as well. Now ThisisVegas John has also

the same, so it looks like the programs are gradually starting to remove their association with CAP...

Thanks Rob but if I can log in as normal then they should still have my personal details so why didnt they send me an email on what is happening?

Informing players about the changes
We will be contacting all existing players tomorrow with details about the changes and to reassure them that the casino is the same apart from the name change.

When are these guys going to learn how to conduct business affairs properly? More distasteful public slanging matches......
