I don't understand what you mean? I don't post a lot here because I am a low roller and usually don't understand what you all are talking about

What do you mean by that comment?

I too noticed this recently as I was looking at the Terms of Golden Palace and saw what appears to now be non-sticky (non-phantom).

Heck, I'm pretty sure it was the Golden Palace Group who INVENTED the sticky bonus.

Anyway, I've never tried them. But their offer does look like a good deal. Just be aware of a couple things first.

First, they've got quite a history. (understatement)

Second, just make sure you don't sign up and take that bonus offer in more than one of their group. And there's several in their group. Only do one, if you do any. If you try more than one, I think you are just really inviting trouble. Besides, they warn about that on their website.

Think I'll just pass. There's enough reputable places to play at without sweating getting in trouble with these guys. That's just my opinion.

If you do try them, good luck. They're pretty big nowadays. They must be doing something right. (paying winners)

a sticky bonus is one that you cant withdraw even after playing with it - so here if you deposited $100 you'd get a $300 bonus giving you $400. You'd be able to withdraw youir own $100 - but not the other $300 and theres no wager requirement its just "fun" money in your real money account basically...although you could use it to bet wildly at BJ or on the slots if you wanted in an attempt to win something bigger...

I don't think that's quite right.
If you take a sticky bonus I believe there are wagering requirements - though they are usually quite low.
I'm not sure the old GP one was sticky anyway - I thought it was phantom (?).

BTW, I took this SUB at GP last month, but blew out before meeting WR.
The card games seemed 'well dodgy'. Maybe I was just very unlucky, but with the size of GP & the bonus offer, one can't help wondering if they have some sort of influence over the pay %'s.

I've been playing there for about a year now, never had a problem cashing out...but I always hated their bonuses, even though they did have different bonuses all throughout the month.

I just think these bonuses are great, I am a level 5, which means I can make a deposit anytime of the week and on Friday I get $30 free, (so for a low roller like me it's perfect) also if I mak a deposit on Tuesday I get15% cash back on Wednesday...I still am not sure if you can only get the free $30 one time on Friday (I mean what if you deposit more then once, or what if you deposit only on Tuesday, do you still get the Wednesday and Friday bonus?)

I called a few weeks ago and asked about that bonus and you can only get that bonus once for all their sister casinos.

that seems to be a bit true....last year I was hitting all the time, I cashed out a few nice ones, but this year it's different, my money goes in and goes down down down, I have even writen them letters about that.

I played last night there and I seemed to be winning more then usual, not enough to cash out, but getting to my last few bucks then hitting $50... I am hoping with this new system they have I will be cashing out.

Probably not, I haven't been doing well, but one can wish :D

I tried the welcome bonus. Easily made the wr and cashed out a couple hundred. I found it all on thr up & up. I like the software but after hearing all the bad stuff I was a bit wary...but it was all good. I will play there again.

liking Golden Palace

As a newbie I also don't understand the negativity. Golden Palace is the best I've tried so far. I haven't seen the client software hang or have any memory leak. There have been no connection issues to the server. Except for slots, the game selection is good - and the game payouts are good. The software runs pretty speedy and graphics are easy to read.

Only negative is first cash out took a week, but that is to be expected when they have such a good signup bonus. I hope I end up fitting somewhere into their incentive program.

I am a level 5

I must be blind, I can not find my VIP level. The pop-up window tells me
to press the VIP button in the main lounge, however where is the damn
button?

I think part of the negativity stems from slow payouts as well as asking for ID documents endlessly. Stupid marketing antics also contribute to this.

BTW, what is the normal period for subsequent cashouts now?

I was going to ask that too. Last time I checked they had a 5 day reverse time in place

I could be wrong, but if your a new member you wont have a VIP level...my husband and I belong to 2 of their casinos and I just started at one, and I don't have a VIP level on that one, I guess it's because I am a newbie at that one.

But on the other casino, it's on the bottom right side.

I mailed GP customer support because I simply could not find the button and
the answer was that I was not even L3 (the minimum level). I have
deposited about 1000$ but cashed out maybe 2000$.

I once played a lot at Prestige, another Playtech casino, and my VIP level
was downgraded because I won too much (they didnt say so though).
At other casinos (Roxy) your level depends on how much you wager, which
I like much better.

I haven't cashed out in a long time  but it was 48 hours.

Yup you're absolutely right. Memory like a sieve - they contacted me recently to correct me
