Thanks all. Have had a good day so far considering!

My wife booked a table at The Firehouse Rottiserie in Bath ( The same place myself, cm, jetset, simmo and spearmaster had dinner at a couple of years back.)

Anyhow as I went to go in I put my cigarette out on the pavement and got collared straight away by an enforcement officer for littering - £75 on the spot fine! I won't be doing that again!

Then we went to see xmen3 at the cinema, great film btw. But were late getting back to our car so another £20 fine. Lol

We've just got back having picked the boy up from nursery and I am now walking my dog and looking forward to a few beers this evening. :cheers

What a bummer....and with some of these 'enforcement' guys there's just no way round them once they start writing those citations - birthday or not

I remember that restaurant well, together with the charming and historic city of Bath.

We should all do another of those road trips soon!
