I think we tend to remember the bad and forget the good. But, in spite of my country's flaws, we are still a Damn good nation. And, there will always be ebbs and flows, and we will always straighten it out if wrong, or convince others to do right, and we will always help the fellow countries of this world if we can.

Well said, Jod! I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively in the United States and it's a fascinating and stunningly beautiful country with many really good, generous and welcoming people (even if its politicians can be a p.i.a. on occasion )
