Did you know that a British company is in charge of security of the Liberty Bell?????? And from the below story, the company is pretty sh!tty too.

Kind of ironic, eh?

Union leaders square off against the British company that employs security guards at the Liberty Bell. The union says the men and women who patrol the Liberty Bell are not allowed any sick or personal days. The company is also accused of short-changing employees by as much as 14 cents an hour on their fringe benefits.

5:30 here in New Mexico. I hear the sound of things dropping on my kitchen skylight and assume it is sprinkling outside. We are in our Monsoon season here. But nooooooo, it is the idiot tweens from next door firing rockets indiscriminantly into the air and hitting my roof. Awww, sweet 4th of July.
