RIP GUTSHOT:
It is now clear that Gutshot have, and continue to do so, mislead their customers. After shutting down their client with no notification to players, leaving players without access to their funds for over 2 months, Gutshot continue to impose a Stalinist censorship on anyone who tries to inform others that it is currently not safe to deposit on their site. The cashier, it would seem, is still not working and players are still unable to withdraw any of their funds, yet despite this Gutshot is still accepting deposits without informing customers. The matter is being widely discussed on legitimate forums and the general consensus is that Gutshot has gone rogue. There is no excuse for this behaviour from Gutshot, it is unethical at best and possibly criminal at worst.
DO NOT USE GUTSHOT UNTIL THEY HAVE CONFIRMED PLAYERS ARE ABLE TO WITHDRAW FUNDS.
Saying that, there is no guarantee they will not repeat this fiasco again at some point in the future and given their ignorant approach to dealing with problems there will be no warning. So deposit at your peril.

This is also a warning to Sportsbook and Casino players as they will also be offering these services. Previously they have also issued extremely badly worded promotions, easily exploited, which they would not have been able stand by had a large amount of people taken the offers up.

GUTSHOT CASINO BEWARE!

Gutshot, which used to be a respected name in live and online poker has now moved into casino and sportsbook gaming. Unfortunately they have monumentally screwed up.

A few months back, they decided to move from iPoker to the Merge Network, but with their own banking and front end client. This transition did not take place smoothly as Gutshot failed to notify customers they would be taking the client down for upgrading. It took over two months to upgrade, which left all players without access to their funds. Their customer support decided that not saying as little as possible would be the best option and proceeded to ignore most concerns raised by players. Eventually, last week, the site went live again, but the cashier was still not operating correctly and players still cannot access their funds, despite Gutshot constantly sending out e-mails and offering promotions on their website and Facebook. In other words, they are misleading customers into depositing on the site without informing them that the cashier is still not offering payouts.

This is wholly unethical. Currently Customer Services is busying itself deleting all possible posts enquiring as to the state of the cashier, but unfortunately they are unable to silence the growing concern expressed on various legitimate forums.

They have previously tried offering sportsbook promotions, which can only be described as woefully incompetent with sparse T&Cs, which had they not been brought to the attention of Gutshot, would have caused an avalanche of complaints had enough people attempted to exploit them. One example allowed players to guarantee themselves £$200 with no risk whatsoever.

Given that they are now offering casino games, there is no guarantee that the recent debacle will not be repeated and therefore players must be aware that access to their funds could be blocked at any point with no warning or efficient feedback from their CS.

This was a company that I previously liked and trusted, so it is with great sadness that it has come to this, but ensuring customers are fully warned takes priority over any loyalty I once had. And no, I wasn't one of the customers whose funds were blocked, but I fully understand the frustration of those that were. The conduct of their CS can only be described as ignorant with absolutely no concern for the legitimate enquiries made by those who thought their money was lost.

It would be prudent if Casinomeister members monitor the situation once the casino/sportsbook goes live and report their findings to assess whether Gutshot have gone full blown rogue.

Hi there!

Gutshot actually has a rep on this forum:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/

It is their affiliate manager according to his profile. I sent him a PM some weeks ago. He has been logged in since, but did not bother to reply. Certainly not a good sign.

I read somewhere that they previously had signed an agreement with NetEnt so I just wanted to ask him what that was about.

As for their casino. It still says " New Casino Online Soon" on their site.
